Castle Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop in Fareham

Not had a bad meal, food is always cooked to order, hot and tasty.

Superb Food! Wouldn’t go anywhere else lovely owners clean kitchens and very reasonable prices. Cooked to order & delicious ***********

Quality food, well cooked, good portions.

Very pleasant, took oder over the phone. And when I arrived order ready to go. Slight hiccup with chip's as some water salt & vintage and others just salt. But unfortunately salt one ok but tasted others no taste of salt or vinegar. Shop very busy so understandable I guess.

Now these guys don't do half bad fish and chips. I asked some of the locals before i went in. And they said its the Chippy of choice in the area. So I had fish and Chips there. Lovely people run it.

Love it, best chippy around Portchester/Fareham very friendly and helpful and good service

Best fish and chips around, my family won't eat from any other chip shop. The owners are so lovely and friendly.

A lovely lady runs this takeaway. The food is excellent- always freshly cooked. They do senior specials which are brilliant value. They support local youth football too. You can phone in advance or drop in.

Since the big takeover, quality has not suffered at.Still the same quality food.Excellent service.Very good price price too. They don't do sweet and sour tho..

Compared to before, the chips felt slightly under cooked and the batter on the fish was a little greasy. But quite acceptable. Went again today. An improvement on last time but the battered sausage was still s bit disappointing in quality and texture.
