Moja indian restaurant in Fareham

Ordered food paid by card thought I would get better service... waited 2hrs food rubbish, a flat onion baji no good avoid this place I won't be ordering anything again

AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs! Was quoted a 50 minute delivery time, the food turns up 2 hours later, freezing cold! When I called the restaurant to complain, I was told the manager was too busy (twice) and that my food was delayed because of 'bad traffic'- For context, I live a mile away in a suburban area, so there is literally no traffic! The food went in the bin, and after eventually getting hold of the manager 3 days afterwards, I was still told that there would be no form of refund, and that I could have '25% off my next order', which I laughed at... So if you like your food late and freezing cold, with zero customer service to go with it, order here!

Order my takeaway for delivery at 5.55pm it finally arrived at 7.31pm, obviously as you can imagine it was not hot, not even warm, I asked the driver why did it take. 1 1/2 hours he was somewhat rude/blunt, also really poor customer service when I phoned to complain, I definitely will not order from moja again.

Ordered this evening on Uber Eats. Delivery was quick and food was very nice, arrived warm but forgot our poppadoms! Despite this, would definitely order again

Took 2 hours for the food to be delivered and when it was the food was luke warm. Wouldn't recommend.

Have had a delivery before which wasn’t great but ok. This time, awful , tasteless and overpowering heat of nothing. The only good thing it was hot when it arrived. It will be warm when it goes in the bin.

Ordered through UberEats last night for the first time as this restaurant was new on there and thought we’d try. We weren’t disappointed. Honestly one of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had. From the quality of the chicken and the lamb to the tasty sauces even the naan and popadoms were incredible. Can’t wait to order again! Stunning!

An impromptu last minute decision to dine out with friends. To say the food was amazing would be a massive understatement. We ordered Naan, Garlic Naan, Plain pulao, Keema Pulao, Aloo Masala, Chana Masala, Lamb Curry, garlic chicken curry, Mixed Non Veg Sizzler and everything was fabulous! The restaurant itself is quite in an interior residential area.but well worth the travel.not at all expensive on our pockets but the taste of the food lingered long long after the actual meal. The owner of the restaurant waited on us that day and he went out of his way to accomodate our requests.Each dish was wonderfully cooked to perfection, every single thing we ordered tasted unique. Many a times with North Indian dishes, the gravy base basically tastes the same with only the main ingredient different. But this was not the case here. Each dish was amazing in its own way. The only thing which would have been helpful is if they had high chairs, but they dont have them. Otherwise a massive thumbs up!!! Will definitely be making future visits.

Going downhill by being inconsistent.Last nights meal will probably be my last at Moja, I’ve had tough reheated lamb in a tika starter here and elsewhere but tonight it had the colour and and the consistency of burnt wood. Forget pink and tender in the middle this was burnt and rock solid.Main was a prawn dupiaza with more onions than Monty Don’s allotment. Another vegetable to accompany the 2/1 dupiaza recipe would have been nice.So last time one of the best, this time diabolical.To be fair I was asked if I was enjoying my meal and I replied to the affirmative but that was because the staff seemed to have other worries and escape beckoned.Must emphasise that the staff are always delightful.

We phoned 10-15 minutes before arrival to check if had any tables or whether to order takeaway. They sorted this and took our order so when arrived we were seated quickly and food wasn't far behind.Helpful, friendly, pleasant smiley staff!Food was very good indeed - 5 Stars.Very reasonably priced too, not expensive at all.Impressed on the whole good all round.I've been to many restaurants in this area, for me this is the best Indian one although the others are also very good.
