Stubbington Fish & Chips in Fareham

Use to be great but totally screwed up online order and not even a refund offered for the wrong sausages....pea fritter has halfed in size they did have amazing batter once.....would not recommend sadly

Huge Haddock. Crispy tasty batter as always!! Other half loved the battered sausages. Best chippie around!

Ordered a new addition to the menu this lunch time, cod rounds, chips, mushy peas, really nice and a great portion for £4.95.

Went on Saturday night 29th January asked if they had any huss and the reply was yer ,so ordered that and large cod and got is that it said would like two small portion of chips come up on the till as three, when told them no sorry about that or anything just removed it, and was told it would be around 7 minutes after 15 went back in and asked if it was ready but got have you ordered yet.?? Rude young lady won't be rushing back maybe some staff training wouldn't go amiss.

My first visit to this chippy. Very good, best haddock and chips I've had and quickly freshly cooked.👌

Superb fish and chips. Spotless establishment. Friendly staff.We are from the next village over and fancied trying from a bit further afield last night and were not disappointed here. The chips were excellent, fish tasty, tar-tar sauce just right and portions very good value. I had the cod in a box option and as a (greedy) adult man, it was a good sized meal.I think we've found our new local chippy.

Went in with out pre ordering no issue. Had several orders on the board. Advise would have to wait about ten minutes for the haddock, fine with that. Nice fish, chips good.

First visit in a while tonight - Chips were very mushy and were squashed into the bag so tightly that we couldn't eat them. Nice flavour, but inedible.The booking system is also a bit chaotic. Perhaps a board showing what orders are ready would be beneficial to those waiting outside.On a more positive note the staff were very friendly and clearly working hard. Good Covid measures and prices.

My friend and I were walk in customers and we only had to wait about 8 minutes for our order to be made and served, which isn't bad (it was a Thursday evening at 6pm mind you)! There were clear markings for prebooked order customers and walk in customers to queue separately and they followed social distancing guidelines well. The food was good 😊 we ordered chicken burgers which were a pretty decent size, and the medium chips were plenty for us to share 🙂 staff were quick to take orders and efficient 👌🏻

Best I've had in a long time. Very fresh and hot.Good system to order online.One very minor issue was the lack of salt and vinegar on a couple of portions of chips, I had written in the comments box not to be shy with it but had somehow completely missed it off ( never the same when you add your own at home).Other than that, it was pretty perfect!!!Will definitely be returning.
