I rang to book a table for 4 of us for my husbands birthday yesterday for 5.30pm. The children were looking forward to it, as were we. When we got there the guy on the phone had mistakenly booked it for 2 people. The girl at the check in desk was least apologetic for the error and insisted they couldn’t find another table following their error and that the only thing she could offer was us waiting for 1.5 hrs for a table (with 2 kids aged 6 and 9!!) or some seats in the bar (again with kids aged 6 and 9, during covid!!). What a disappointment…just glad it wasn’t one of the childrens birthdays! And then today I get a generic email for feedback..what a joke!!

Pretty standard chain fare - although higher end perhaps - prices are slightly higher than other chains perhaps. You know what you are getting. Always friendly. Its quite loud - which is handy if you have young kids and worried the noise of your table might disturb others (based on the last two times we were there, no danger of that!). Also they take the whole gluten free thing very seriously - which is handy if anyone in your party has food intolerance.

Great place to come especially for the full rack of ribs.

A warm friendly welcome greeted us on our arrival. Food was served relatively fast, well presented and hot. The portion sizes were just right and there were no complaints regarding the quality. I have been here on several occasions and will continue to visit

Went for my birthday last night, when we arrived I had a birthday card on the table and balloons which was so sweet and really made my night. Our server was absolutely brilliant, unfortunately I didnt catch her name, but she really made the night. The food was brilliant and the cocktails too. Overall a really good night made better by the lovely staff.

Excellent service from Josh but the food was disappointing! Sizzling skillet coming out warm at best, burger and chips were also cold. Great with allergies and good procedures when bring food out separately to avoid cross contamination.

Was ok, but tables not spaced out well and food was a little bit sporadic getting to the table. Can't say the service was that good, and overall expensive for what it was. Wouldn't rush back, even though it was OK, as better options and cheaper.

Great food as with any TGI you visit and again as with every TGI I have been to the staff were great (and fun). Love this place, though it’s pretty unhealthy (but delicious) food so I don’t get to go here too often.

Great American fayre with amazing cocktails and mocktails, free soft drink refills. Chicken strips and meat dishes all excellent. Good for groups and families with an outdoor terrace

We knew it would be busy when we were planning to visit, so we booked a table to ensure we could get in for a birthday lunch. In the lobby of the restaurant there was no social distancing in force and there were too many people stood waiting to check in. The restaurant looked already to the point of being full and I believe government guidelines were being ignored to get as many guests in as possible. The table we were given was marked "closed for social distancing" but the hostess just whipped the sign away and seated us there, in between 2 other occupied tables. We were told we had the table for an hour and a quarter and this seemed to be where there was a problem as during this time we only saw 1 other table leave despite 7 other tables being occupied when we arrived.I made a complaint to the manager, after via social media, who argued that we were sat at a table they deemed to be 1m from other guests but it's not like they're going to admit they're flouting the rules to earn more money!Despite all this we decided to stop for lunch, we weren't letting the lack of distance ruin a birthday at a restaurant chain we have previously really enjoyed. We both started with Jack Daniels chicken strips, which were ok, a bit on the soggy side from what I remembered. I couldn't believe the £7+ price tag! Then I ordered grilled chicken and was told halfway through my starter that I couldn't have it because it was still frozen. Upon re reading the menu (re: high prices!) I opted for another breaded chicken dish, which was still a rip off.We didn't stay for dessert as our allotted 75 minutes for the table was up.Overall we won't return to this restaurant but might try another in the chain at a later date. For now the prices do not accurately reflect the quality of food you're receiving, you'd be better off at Harvester.
