Outstanding pub. Well looked after beers with a good choice, friendly and welcoming staff, superb food with a menu perfectly suited for this type of venue. Would return for sure; highly recommended.

Really accomodating and friendly staff, can't fault them on customer interaction. The food was delicious - the chilli and beer mussels were brilliant. This is a local, welcoming place and I would highly recommend getting here if you're in the area.

Mark, The Landlord, Rosie, his right hand manager, Coleen, Jess, Izzy and bar and waiting staff and particularly Sam, the chef and his kitchen staff managed and ran our 40th Wedding Anniversary celebrations including choices pre-ordered of starters, main courses and desserts and running the bar and everything they undertook was fabulously catered for. My wife Brenda and I cannot speak highly enough of this friendly pub and restaurant. We can only judge an event like this by the work they undertook to create a very special evening for us and the ambience is great, the food exemplary and produced by a great chef, the staff friendly and attentive and the Landlord extremely accommodating. All of our 40+ guests were delighted with the quality of food and service and their feedback was commendable. Thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant for a snack, lunch, dinner or special event. Well done everyone.

This was my first visit and it was worth it for the best steak I have had in quite a while, and some delicious different ales to try. Looking forward to visiting again.

A hidden gem tucked away from the main shopping area and easily missed. Make a point of visiting if you can. Lovely atmosphere and a brilliant little snug room, ideal for telling fishing stories in. Really looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely food and top top service! They accommodated my needs due to a leg brace I am wearing following surgery which I appreciated. A couple of us had the sirloin steak which was great....but alas the absence of steak sauces is a disappointment when treating yourselves. Come on please resolve this! 🙃

Went there for a wedding anniversary meal. A really warm welcome and a lovely pint to start followed by a superb meal. We really enjoyed the evening and everything was faultless. Staff are very attentive and our server was one of the best waitresses I have ever met. She was vivacious, fun and helped to make it a special evening for us. Will definitely be going back and recommend this place very highly.

Have not been able to visit for a year, but standards still the same. Food, wine, service and value all excellent and in great surroundings. Standard menu supplemented by a Chef's daily board. Haven't seen or eaten Brill for forty years, wasn't disappointed. Will visit again.
