Arty's at Clarence Marina in Gosport

Friday lunch time visit to Artys was on the menu for the Mrs and I. What can I say about the venue.. its tastefully decorated with interesting wall art(bit of a clue in the restaurants name I suppose :-) ) there is also stylish bar area and well planned seating inside(with views of the harbour). The outside tables have stunning views across the harbour with the busy marina in the foreground (Amazing, as the day of our visit was gorgeous sunshine and blue skies). Now onto the important stuff (yer get on with it Ian!) my wife Vanessa had burger and chips (of which she enjoyed) I had spaghetti bolognese DELICIOUS!.Yes It was! Very tasty/ very hot and a good sized portion now I love garlic and this was seasoned very well much to my liking. All washed down with a couple of cold drinks.. Very good quality and excellent service. Silly statement coming... would we recommend/return:Yes.

I came from the US and was visiting the area. I can’t express how good this experience was! The food was so fresh and well made. The place was so well kept, the restrooms and dining room were clean and well kept with great decor. All items on the menu were fresh and relevant. I had such a hard time choosing what to eat. I picked the pizza of the day and it was not a bad choice!! Highly recommend!

Friday 6th May. Party of eight had a fantastic time. It was very busy, which meant a great atmosphere, but all the staff were still very friendly, efficient and courteous. Although very busy, all our starters and mains came out together and very hot. Not a single complaint from any of us. Would definitely return and recommend without any hesitation.

Love this place, myself my wife and children and the beast ocean ( dog) come here all the time. Lovely wine and the food is delicious. Staff are very friendly especially Luke. Dog friendly and can sit in by the door if bad weather. Breakfast are yummy to proper grub. Definitely recommend Artys

We went here for a special occasion as we had been recommended. However we were not prepared for how good the food would be. Everything was full of flavour. The portion sizes were perfect. Service and speed of food was very good. The starter, main and dessert were all absolutely perfect. I have been disappointed in the past with a great main meal to be topped off with a frozen dessert. Not here. Both very nice made in house. My wife had a cocktail and it was also the best cocktail she had tried. I finished the meal with an Irish coffee, made perfectly. To make things perfect the bill came and was very reasonable. We will be back!

First time we Had a nice meal here. Everything well made and tasty. Service was excellent.It's a little bit out the way but has good views of Portsmouth sure in the summer it's a great place to sit eat drink and enjoy.

Awesome food, fast and friendly service, a good range of drinks, a cool location (we could see HMS Price of Wales and the Spinnaker Tower from just outside) and reasonable prices. What on earth else could you want? The salads and pizzas were especially good (and large).

One of our favourite places to go in the area. Food is great and the staff are friendly. Doughballs are a must try.

For a non vegan restaurant they had a few good options that included Pizza, Pasta, a vegetable tart and a Vegan Thai Burger. The fries were particularly nice. The location is great with a view out over the Marina. I will definitely be going again soon I hope.
