Bridgemary's Finest Fish and Chips in Gosport

Large fish is more like a medium. Battered sausages were so greasy, savaloy was hard. Quality of the food in general has dropped so much since new management. Asked for no salt and vinegar, when we got into the car we could smell vinegar, took them back in and were told we asked for vinegar. Server argued with me and and got the lady before mines order wrong too. Anyone know where the previous management went because I miss their standard of fish and chips. I will NOT be returning

Always popular, they have a good regime to get through the orders, similar to a restaurant. Great service, excellent food. Glad it is only a 5 min walk.

Everytime we go there it is closed. We went there tonight before 8pm. Closed again. Very disappointed. 😞

Very disappointed, poor service. Waited 40 minutes. Got 2 medium cods instead of two large ones, ordered two battered sausages and got plain ones instead. Don’t waist your money there.

Quite nice. Cod and chips were good, but I will say that the large cod wasn't worth the extra money. The 'large' cod wasn't big enough to be called large.Nice fish and chips, but don't believe all the reviews about huge portion sizes.

Chips were nice, well-sized portions and reasonably priced. A lot better than it used to be under different management years ago.Staff were lovely and friendly; only qualm is it took a little longer for food than was reasonable.

I got 2 medium cod & a large chips from you last night, and I haven't had fish & chips that good since I don't know when!! Will be coming down for more very soon! Thank you.

Good chips good fishKnocked a star off as prices have gone up and portion sizes gone down don't mind paying more but don't give less chips and for some reason the curry sauce now has the same consistency as water

Fish and chips of perfection! I can't fault the food, it's always impeccable and cooked fresh.The prices are very, very reasonable and the staff are extremely friendly and love to have a chat with their customers. Best chippy about other than the one in Pier Street, Lee-on-the- Solent but they own that one too.

First time here - fish was big and perfectly cooked. Chips were the best I've tasted in years!! Place was spotless and staff really friendly. Have fish and chips every Wednesday with our Grandad and will be using this place from now on!
