Jolly Roger in Gosport

Unfortunately most of the menu was unavailable, the gammon had been left under the heat lamp too long and was subsequently quite tough but the chicken strips were excellent. Lovely venue so hopefully the kitchen will improve.

Went for lunch. 1st choice, No prawns. 2nd choice, No wholemeal bread. 3rd choice, jacket potato served with salad. Tiny spud, overcooked, only half edible, salad was a little bit of lettuce leaf. Would not recommend.

Popped in while out with the family and Barney the bulldog. Had 3xBLT sandwiches with chips, bacon in the sandwiches was spot on just crispy. We all enjoyed the skin on chips. Dog friendly and wife was able to drive her mobility scooter into the pub. Going back later in the week to try a bigger meal.

Great service. Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere. If the weather is nice the view from the table is beautiful!

Sat for 20 mins before having to ask to be served.Food came out missing items and without steak knives so had to ask for them again at the bar, still nothing arrived.Staff seemed to be running around like headless chickens and it was far from busy!Dessert was stale.Tad expensive for that kind of service at just shy of £60 for 2 people!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with my husband. Lovely food and drink. Attentive and friendly staff. Clean surroundings. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Not a bad locale. Only had coffee this time round, but it wasn't expensive (perhaps other choices on the menu are, since I've been told this place is expensive?). It's a warm and cozy pub, located in a perfect coastal spot where you can take a walk along the promenade towards the Explosion Museum.

We visited for the 1st time and for food and drinks. The atmosphere seemed nice and I would probably return again for drinks.The food however was awful. I'm not fussy by any means, but the pizza and loaded fries I ordered were cheap quality and undercooked. The pizza was mostly grated cheddar with some undercooked tinned tomato sauce.I couldn't finish my food and was quite disappointed.The service was slow, more attention was given to the patrons at the bar as it was busy there.Our bill took half an hour to arrive and during that time our wine glasses were removed whilst we visited the loo. So we just sat with half a bottle and waited...I raised my complaint about the food, but no effort or offer was made to make it right.2 starters 2 mains for £45... I honestly wish I had picked up pizza and chips before hand at the kebab shop and saved £30.A real shame, I had heard great things about the place but I will never eat there again.

Great pub & atmosphere, however the barmaid might want to learn a few customer service skills. Other than one member of staff, this does not reflect on the business.

Sat outside, sadly no sun spots available. Ordering from table was not obvious, so my partner went in to ask and a kind waitress took our order, it arrived more quickly than that of a nearby table who had placed order by app. Pleasant drink. Pleasant surroundings looking over the boats in the harbour.
