Karen's Plaice in Gosport

Fish as always was excellent but there seems to be a different chip which is not as good.

Jenny is extremely friendly and very helpful. She remembers how we like our chips, etc and asks how we are The food is brilliantly cooked and its such a treat to have. Simply the best 👌

To be honest we only went here as we were eating late and our regular chippy had closed, pleasantly surprised, great food freshly cooked, and far cheaper than our usual, we will be back.

Freshly cooked very good portions size would certainly recommend karens plaice. Since moving to Gosport we have been here 6 or 7 times and always very tasty

This 'plaice' is amazing. We travel a fair way to have our fish and chips here but could never go anywhere else having tried these. Always perfectly fresh and beautifully cooked. Never yesterday's left overs here. Would rate it 10 if stars allowed.

Cold chips plus nearly all small bits rather than reasonable size. Jumbo sausage seemed not to be freshly cooked, rather than sitting in the heated cabinet. Spam fritter was ok. Overall really disappointing.

Popped in here for fish n chips to eat by the sea, a 5 min walk from the seafront, so still piping hot food. Fabulous fish crispy golden batter, chips were crispy and the pea fritter was amazing. 2 x pensioner portion cod chips &pea fritter £10:80p. Terrific value and outstanding quality & quantity.

THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS EVERI haven't had fish and chips like this in a long time, absolutely amazing.The fish is cooked to perfection, light batter, the chips are amazing too. Fish and chips came in a box which for me is a lot better to eat.I highly recommend Karen's Plaice. Being from Yorkshire, Karens Plaice is really up there when it comes to fish and chips.I had my fish and chips looking at the sea front, amazing view with a amazing meal.Thank you 👍
