Mikes Chippy in Gosport

Fresh food for me everyday, this is what I love about king fish but not the only reason, the workers are very kind and pleasant.

Unfortunately it was expensive. The chips were anemic and tasted of oil. The cheeseburger was like from an old school canteen and tasted bad, the roll was ok. Fish was very overcooked and hard.One high point very clean surfaces.

All cooked fresh . Big portions. Chips were hard. Fish was very thin.... Looked like it was frozen. Friendly Chef. Can't grumble about price.

Absolutely the friendliest staff I have come across at a fish and chip shop. Always cheerful and polite even at the busiest times.They provide great value for money and the food tastes excellent. The chips are decent size with less 'shreds' like other places.Highly recommended, best in Gosport.

Best chip shop in town. All freshly cooked and great customer service too. Quality products and good hygienic practices. Well worth a Visit on way to beach!

Great fish and chips , more than enough chips , lovely batter and friendly service. Fair price and the oap deal is very good too. Good value for money.

Awful, arrived home to see they had forgot my order of garlic mushrooms that I paid for. To add to this found not one but two hairs in the chips as well. Would not recommend

I just ordered fish and chips from King Fish as a Saturday night treat for the family. The lady on the phone was polite and efficient, and the order arrived promptly. It was piping hot on arrival and the portions were huge as well as tasty. The cod was excellent, with nice, crispy batter and the chips were also superb - not soggy and swimming with grease as they so often are from some chippies.The whole family enjoyed their fish supper and I would definitely use King Fish again.

Consistently great food from here. The chip portion size is massive. We got a large and small portion of chips and they were more than enough for a family of four. One large portion would probably have been enough. Good prices as well.
