Morrisons Cafe in Gosport

If you read the actual content of recent reviews, you’ll realise that reviewers are being somewhat generous with their stars. This cafe is very poor. Service is abysmally slow, and food is regularly served cold. This is very probably NOT the fault of the staff themselves. I suspect that this cafe (and the store itself) requires a complete revamp. The layout of the cafe and the tiny food preparation area, prevent this business from adequately meeting its demand. Please take note Morrisons. You have a loyal customer base here in Gosport. Reward them with a fit-for-purpose in-store cafe.

The service can be a bit slow. But then the staff take thier time with eash customer making sure they get thier order right and the customer feels respected . Small meals at reasonable prices and they do some good deals . They will heat up baby food and bring your meal to the table.

Had chicken fillet burger wanted in plain no mayo. That was fine asked for side salad the girl knowing can't have mayo and covered it in coleslaw which contains mayo.Waste if money

Went in gosport branch today and had a long wait at the tills. Then that had very few things on menu like no bacon, no jacket potatoes and that's just my order. Short staffed for a lunchtime and won't be returning..

Food hot and reasonably priced and handy when finished your shopping. Also do some great deals if you have children. Would reccomend anyone to try.

On a course nearby and needed speedy and sustaining food, this supermarket cafe was on the route so went for breakfast. It was excellent at the price. Decent sausages, bacon and black pudding (the Lancashire type that Morrisons favour so not too fatty) and everything else plus largeish pot of tea fine.Soooo . . . as I had work to do in the evening I thought I'd try the lunch / evening menu. The lamb shank with mash and peas appealed and although I expect it was a microwaved pouch it was excellent. A large portion, balanced seasoning and followed by crumble with custard.Cleanliness was excellent, the service was friendly and helpful, prices were pretty low and overall the experience was excellent for a supermarket cafe. I'm back in the area soon and will be going again.

I like it here. The food is good, cheap and satisfying. Coffee is very good. I usually have Eggs benidict as the hollandaise sauce is very good. Under £10 for 2 breakfasts with tea/coffee. Most local cafés are more expensive and not always as good.

Food was lovely, the lady who brought our food out was lovely too. Unfortunatly the lady that served us was a bit miserable and just tried to rush us through nearly missing half our order.

·

Not the greatest of fry ups. Disgusting tinned rubber mushrooms and black pudding! Bacon not cooked enough. Cheap and cheerful

Lots of items missing from menu due to delivery issues. Surely ITS A SUPERMARKET!Had Eggs Benedict, but absurdly they couldn't do poached eggs, but offered fried or scrambled!!!!!!!! The muffins were stale and rock hard tooClearly its all pre-packed nonsense and nothing like as good as the brilliant stores in Retford or Buxton who cook food FRESH from their great produce
