Lived near for 2 yrs but always found the busy Forton rd put me off trying to parkBut tonight I found a space and parked and I'm glad I did :)Probably the best fish n chips I've tasted in a long time .. :)Service excellent.. lovely ladies who served me .Excellent value for money too£3.50 for a more than adequate pensioners portion of fish n chips :)Will definitely be calling in again and they reminded me of the big free car park accessed by roads either side of the chip shop.. and an alley way which exits just by the ocean ..

Just been here this evening for the first time. I can say I'm very Impressed, I had regular cod and chips with curry sauce it was very tasty, plenty there too. Will deffently be going back soon.

I'm so sorry but i disagree with a lot of these reviews. The chips were very dry. The fish....OMG! The batter had some visible weird white powder going through it, it was like eating sandpaper, tasted awful, the fish had a very weird taste too...it ended up in the bin

Loved it. Ocean King Fish & Chips in Forton Road Gosport, simply the best. No surprise they are an Award Winning family owned shop, great friendly service and yummy food cooked to perfection.

Just had the most amazing delivery from Ocean King Fish Bar, a bit last minute for my dad who has been in lockdown for a year now. So I called the best place I know for a timely delicious delivery asking, hopefully, at short notice. They excelled themselves again, free delivery, timely but the most delicious cod, crispiest chips on the planet with a few little ‘bits’ in the bottom and curry sauce. As a curry sauce virgin I’m well and truly converted. Best fish bar I’ve come across in Gosport. Thank you. Highly recommended and we WILL be calling again

I love my local chippy.. A lovely family (Hoopers) run chippy. The fish is always succulent .. I love the fillet of cod with crispy batter and served with wedge of lemon with tasty proper chips. To top that they deliver free with a smile. Very reasonably priced.
