The Inn by The Sea in Gosport

Lovely breakfast the sausages are top quality and they have real butter! Reasonably priced as it is all you can eat. Also the lady at front of house is always so polite and attentive not sure of her name.

Delicious food, good serving size, pleasant atmosphere, and some crayons and paper for the kids (so they could do some colouring activities, not for them to eat)

Visited here today for breakfast staff extremely nice but the breakfast was terrible. Eggs rock hard bacon so crip you couldn't put your fork into it & hash browns very over cooked the only OK bit was the toast that we cooked ourselves. My granddaughter didn't eat any of hers. All in all a very disappointing breakfast will not visit again

Very good value. Second visit for us. Good all you can eat breakfast and good carvery. Seating is a bit clumsy. Tight and table legs were you want to rest your feet. Very good staff and service. Nice range in the menu. Okay for disabled but not brilliant. We would go again.

Had a delicious meal here with my family on Saturday 19 Feb 2022. We all had food from the carvery, the meat was tender and the vegetables fresh and plentiful. I pre-booked and asked to be seated on the flat (as one of the guests had difficulty walking), and this was kindly accommodated. The venue was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a fabulous Christmas Day dinner in 2021. Everything was delicious. Landlady and her team were cheerful, chatty and made the day even more joyous. My husband cheekily asked if he could keep his pint glass and the landlady insisted she wash it for him first so he could take it home!!

Normally quick friendly service. Great that they have a vegan range as well.(Adding a Vegan Yorkshire to the menu for the nut roast would be amazing)Carvery or pizza's are really good!

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Carvery food very good, meat tender and tasty, great selection of veg, and lovely roast potatoes. Only negative was that the food could have been hotter. Still really enjoyed our meal though :-)

Called into the Inn by the Sea on a Thursday lunch time. It was surprisingly busy and I should have called ahead to book a table.Having said that I ordered a carvery. A good choice of meat and veg. Bradley served me at the pass and was really friendly and helpful.The meat was juicy and tasty, not at all dry.I will definitely be returning to this pub/restaurant.

Really good selection on carvery. Vegetables could have been a bit hotter but were well cooked, as were the meats. Enjoyed our meal. Very reasonably priced. Too many tables and chairs in the area we sat in, very tight to actually slide in, and much too close to other people to be comfortable.
