Just celebrated our 42nd Wedding Anniversary here at The Seahorse. Food was amazing. I had the pan fried salmon my husband had steak. Both cooked to perfection. Delicious. Will definitely be back. Thanks to all.

Lovely here great food and service. Great staff, lovely atmosphere

·

Some different choices on the menu and all the food that we had was well presented and everyone liked their starters and mains. Service was very good with friendly staff.

Peri peri chicken burger is simply a cooked chicken breast between two wet buns with a watery peri-peri sauce added on top, for £13 you’d expect something a bit better. Also, very skimpy on the chips and the side-slaw was …. Watery. Excess water is a reoccurring theme with the meal, shame.Service and drinks were fine, no complaints.Would not recommend.

Really nice place with friendly staff and good food. Definitely recommend

We went as a party of four for a birthday lunch to the Seahorse Bar and Grill after hearing good things about it, we were disappointed. It took absolutely ages for the food to arrive, and although the young waitress, did say that there was a kid's party that had booked 2 tables, I feel that a restaurant that size should be able to handle the traffic.I asked for a 16Oz T Bone steak, medium-rare. I received probably about 6 to 8 Oz T Bone thoughrely cooked though. My partner ordered a rack of ribs that were very dry and not juicy at all.Staff did not come and ask at any point if we were alright and if the food was ok. The restaurant did not feel cozy or comfortable at all. At one point there were about 5 children running around screaming and no one said a thing.I will not be returning to The Seahorse Bar and Grill, That was £120 pounds badly spent.

Probably the best loaded nachos I've ever eaten! Really accommodating and helpful with my other half's non-dairy needs. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. All around a great place to go for food 👍🏻

Congratulations to Monique and Alex for the transformation they have made here. The tremendous work and effort they have put in really shows and we have never had a bad experience. The ribs are the best I have had, if you are vegetarian or pescatarian you will not be disappointed - beer great; wine great; food great; service great - we love it here.

Best roast dinner I've ever had from restaurant /pub. It was as good as my home made roast from home and I'm very fussy. Thank you we will come again when we next travel to Portsmouth.

We had Sunday Roast. Our table was near the bar, rather than the restaurant area and it was near the door, so we had a draft. The service was friendly with no waiting. The roast was good, more than we could eat. Desserts were fine, the sticky toffee pud had been microwaved and the sugar in it had crystallised in the centre. Would try the establishment again.
