Cheap cheerful grub served quickly. A friend ordered and paid using an app so no queuing at the bar trying to catch someone's eye. Vegan options available. Say what you like about Wetherspoons, when you've been Morris dancing in the hot sun, you're hungry and thirsty and you don't want anything fancy, it's just what you want

Excellent as an inexpensive restaurant. Very efficient, clean and perfectly located. However, if evaluated as a pub it lacks the range of real ales, the cosy atmosphere and human communication. Orders, payments and feedback are done in a smartphone app. Not my taste.

Miserable jobsworth staff, wouldn't even let my little companion baby bird stay for a pint

Always worth hittin on your local Wethers.......there really good value for money and never to much to complain about.........

Huge thank you to tonight’s shift manager who explained their policy/experience regarding disabled toilets. Agree completely that ‘some people’ have abused the facility which ended the ‘always open’ policy. They even give keys out. Was never asked to explain my unseen disability & shift manager couldn’t have been more helpful. Five stars given as I couldn’t give six. Thank you

Long wait at the bar to order, had large cod and chips, which was lovely apart from the cold mushy peas. Ruddles beer was off the menu, but the substitute green king IPA was available at the unbeatable price of ÂŁ1.49 a pint.

Usually find a cafe after a walk with Ramblers. The tea, coffee etc is ÂŁ1.20 at Wetherspoons and refillable and you are given quality products. Unlike some of the surrounding cafes in the precinct that cost more up to ÂŁ2.00 for tea and often horrible in a smaller cups.

Better this evening. Luch time they only had one person behind the bar. Bad planning, especially with all those thirsty veterans. We gave up and went elsewhere.

You can't really go wrong with the prices, as many coffees as you want, good selection of beers and spirits. Popular with locals as most Spoons are, this was alright too, another city another Spoons. Barmaid should pay more attention to who's next at bar though.. No worries, the guy obviously needed a beer urgently.,.

Most food was out of stock or part of a meal was! The curry was not very good but the sirloin steak was acceptable. The presentation was not good. Will not return to this Wetherspoons , someone needs to get a grip. The many young people's language was awful and staff did not seem to care
