We came today and I can say we're weren't impressed with our food nothing was cooked to order only a burger which we ordered the chips were old too. Felt very let down as this used to be the best chip shop around .

FANTASTIC! SIMPLY THE BEST!HUGE THANKS to All at the Village Fish Bar....much loved by me when I lived in Gosport.Finally back on a long overdue visit....(Friday 11 March 2022)....it was a "No Brainer"....It HAD to be Fish and Chips from Alverstoke Village for Supper!Perfectly cooked Fish in Crisp Batter, not a soggy chip to be found either! MORE THAN WORTH THE QUEUE OUTSIDE!! (The shop is TINY, immaculately kept and Staff friendly and efficient)DELICIOUS!! THANK YOU!!

The best chippy for miles. Friendly people, best taste in the town, and pea fritters too. Just beware the big portions.

Best Chippy i’ve ever been to - the fish and chips are unrivalled. Plus they keep the community, customers and staff safe by requiring all customers to wear a mask and sanitise hands. Makes me feel safe when I want my favourite takeaway.

Best fish and chip shop around. Anyone who complains because the shop are trying to protect staff from Covid are out of their minds and idiots.Staff are great, customer focused and excellent food!!

Absolutely disgusted by the discriminatory behaviour and absolute disregard for people with disabilities. I can accept you have an issue with covid but to outwardly refuse entry and service when someone has a protected disability under the equalities act 2010. You were all masked up so it should not be a problem. Disgusting!!

Great fish and chips and only a 5 minute walk away from Stokes bay. Eating fish and chips by the sea is one of life's better moments. This place does the makes it even more special. Good service, tasty food and decent portions make it our go to place
