Waterfront Brasserie in Gosport

We only went for a walk and ended up enjoying a lovely fish and chip supper here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good and better than I was expecting. All in all it was lovely with a nice view of the sea as well.

Wow!! Stunning views, the food was outstanding and the service was 10 out of 10. We had such a lovely evening. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere too. Well worth a visit.

I went with my family for lunch on my 30th birthday whilst my husband was planning a surprise party at home for me. The food was absolutely incredible. I had the seafood platter - we ordered 2 of them and I shared the food with my sister and dad. It was the perfect amount of food and it was absolutely delicious. At the end of the meal they came over with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my birthday! The staff were wonderful and I can't wait to come back!

Had an absolutely lovely Roast beef lunch with the family. Roast beef was perfect. Great view of the Solent.

Partly under construction at the moment so the cafe section is closed. I shall look forward to seeing the refurbished cafe area in the near future but until then the restaurant section is open and there are plenty of tables outside too. Despite not being able to sit in our usual spot, my friends and I had a lovely meal and the service remained exceptional, as always. My only wish is for a couple more sandwich choices, as not all vegetarians like feta / olives. Would have given 5 stars if there had been 1 or 2 more veggie choices.

I was visiting Lee-on-solent and drove past this place. Stopped as it had a beautiful view of the sea. I received a warm welcome and my order was taken quickly. Food also came out in good time. I had the 'small' mussels with sour dough bread. It was lovely and a much bigger portion than I expected for a 'small' one. I will certainly be popping in again if I'm ever in the area in the future.

Brilliant Xmas party. Will definitely go back during the day. Staff where amazing joining in with our dancing..... not always by choice. Food was delicious and amazing entertainment

This restaurant has made a great turnaround from when I visited it a year ago. The food was great the staff attentive and Charlie the assistant Manager (who should be the manager btw :-), ran a tight ship. The staff were attentive and friendly, I will be recommending On The Water to all my friends and we will certainly be back

Sat on the terrace, dogs permitted outside. The fish and chips and moules were really good, the fish had very tasty, crispy batter. Service spot on. Very pleasant place to eat overlooking the sea.
