Bartellas in Gravesham

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunchtime birthday celebration here recently. Food excellent and staff very attentive and professional. The decor welcoming, proper tablecloths and prices remarkably reasonable. Would have no qualms in recommending this restaurant

Stand out service makes for a lovely, civilised atmosphere. Light, airy and nicely decorated. The is a hood variety of options to eat which are well portioned, presented and tasty. I was lucky enough to go twice in one week and found it to be good each time with no drop in standards despite one of the days being significantly busier.

Having discovered as lunch time venue thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Just that little bit different and special with those additional touches that add to the experience. Choice of water,bread and dip offered,cotton napkins and exceptional service all add to the experience. A varied a well priced menu to suit most tastes I would say (fish and chips on a Friday). Tables well distanced and a welcoming ambience,could easily become a favourite choice for most occasions or simply lunch time meal. We shall return and recommend.

Visited a few times over the years. From a food perspective I've never been disappointed - good menu, caters for allergies well and reasonably priced. Knocked a star off as occasionally I feel they get too many people through the door and service goes a bit awry and staff can be less friendly and welcoming than they could be - I think they try to appear efficient, but it can appear cold instead. Parking can sometimes be an issue on busy nights as well. Overall though I recommend it.

One of the best experiences. First class young waiting staff who have been properly trained are a rarity these days but these topped my expectations for such a venue. Polite, deferential, effective, charming. The food choice was wide and tasty.

We just had the best lunch at Bartellas in Meopham, first time out since before Christmas due to covid in the house…. The staff were so welcoming and friendly… couldn’t do enough for us! Our eldest daughter is in a wheelchair and they made her feel so welcome and included in the meal!!! Not much more to say other than would definitely recommend this restaurant to others x

Been to Bartellas once before, everything was perfect, just so. Chef knew his/her job.Today, for Xmas lunch, everything was just so-so.It was adequate, it was ok, it was unremarkable, almost frugal, and therefore a disappointment.Couple of hard sprouts, a few bits of bendy carrots, peas! Frankly, I've had better Toby carveries.Dessert, a piece of warm, stodgy panattone in custard.So disappointing.

5 star food and service!! Incredible food, the taste is literally unreal. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Would 100% recommend, top class service and food. Can’t rave enough about this place !

Surprisingly large restaurant in this village with a varied menu. Whilst the focus is Italian/Med cuisine, they offered a range of other family pleasing dishes. Really nice touches like the warm bread to start, complementary still or sparkling water at the table. Service was friendly and attentive. We ate a variety of food - Pizza, squid ink pasta, bbq baby back ribs and cod. All cooked nicely.

If you are a foodie this is the place for you. The food is amazing, every dish we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy The staff were attentive and helpful and the restaurant itself it's super cosy and had a real ambience about it. Perfect for couples, friends and families it really caters for all. Can't wait to go back. Had a fantastic evening here.
