Caesar Italian Restaurant - The Original in Gravesham

Was excited to try but disappointedWent for lunch one afternoon, looking forward to going as I’ve only heard good things about the food, we ordered a lasagne which was lovely ( only thing I’d say is I could of eaten a bigger portion😝), ordered a pizza and it was so soft I couldn’t pick it up without all the toppings falling off, so was difficult for my toddler to eat properly so she barely touched it and my partner ordered the lamb with red wine sauce but he said it just remembered him of lamb gravy.Left feeling disappointed as I was really looking forward to it.

Fantastic service from Paula! Thank you for arranging the surprise birthday cake for my partners special day.Food was well cooked, tasty and well presented and even thought the prices has increased slightly, portions were big and food quality 100% worth the money.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will most definitely be back again and again.

I went with my family and had a very poor experience. The waitress told us off when we tried to ask if the portions where the one they usually serve (more then 11 pounds for 4 small prawns?) , and was generally very dismissive. I gave 2 stars and not 1 just because the piza is actually very nice, but all the rest is a no-no

This restaurant is probably the best in Gravesend, I must say. The way the food is presented is mouth-watering. It tastes as great as it looks. Never have been more impressed. Love it, and recommend it!

Lovely restaurant! Me and my mum usually order a calzone or pizza to share and give the meat to the doggy as we are vegetarians but we had the mozzarella, wild mushroom and Italian sausage pizza and it was amazing! The dog got the Italian sausage and Caesars is his (and ours) favourite takeaway to date. It’s nice to have restaurant food delivered rather than a typical takeaway meal. As I hate cooking it’s nice to have the opportunity for a healthier option than most deiveries supply :)

I seldom take the time to write restaurant reviews but I am simply amazed by the friendly atmosphere, exceptional food and attention to detail shown by Gino and his team at Julius Caesar. At Christmas they looked after my lively work Christmas Party without any fuss and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a brilliant night. I have since returned on many occasions and I am proud to bring colleagues and friends down from London to dine here. Everyone that I have taken here has been complimentary about the freshness and quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. - You won't be disappointed!

Went there for a meal on the evening of the 09/0122 for my wife's birthday. The food was without question first class, the staff were lovely, welcoming and pleasant, attentive without being pushy. Most definitely will be eating there again. Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. Impressive.Went for Valentines again the staff are fantastic and the food to match. Great restaurant.

Recently visited this place and my overall experience were positive. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. I ordered Caprese do Bufala (creamy mozzarella with tomato and pesto), Bronzino al Forno (sea bass) and Chocolate dessert. This had a real nice flavour profile. Dessert was amazing. Nice place to visit again.

So Sunday evening in Gravesend and we fancied some pasta. The asparagus bruschetta was amazing with perfectly cooked asparagus and Italian cheese. My main course of spinach and ricotta ravioli was even better! Lovely atmosphere, brilliant service. Check opening times as this isn't usually open Sunday evening. Highly recommended.

Feeling very very disappointed. Decided to go here for our anniversary having looked at the menu online.Got there and was handed a paper menu where prices had been put up.Wasn't offered water nor any condiments which was a 1st...We ordered the rack of lamb which was more like a saucer of lamb. Mostly fat and and the mashed potato was barely there 2 spoonfuls 3 at most. I asked the waiter is this all the mash she confirmed yes that is the portion. I then asked for a plate of chips which she was very honest about and said they are very small portion also "half a bowl" so i didn't bother.Lamb was edible though not seasoned or marinated. For £19 per dish I expected much much more. I had high expectations considering the reviews but will not be back here in a hurry.
