Nice local restaurant with American diner feel, serving all the American classics. Enjoyed the waffle and buttermilk chicken burger. The service was lovely as well. Great place for family meal

We ordered from Uber eats and waited just under an hour. When the food arrived it was still hot and everything that was ordered was cooked perfectly. We had the cheeseburger, a hotdog, beef brisket and ribs combo with chips. Not a single bit of food was left over, everything was full of flavour and the potions were big. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to order again, thanks hot rod diner, one happy belly full family :-).

Took the kids here for a quick lunch. Reasonably priced hot dogs and burgers. The burger was pretty nice, reminded me of a 5 guys burger. The decor in there is good - certainly hits the 50s American diner look they were going for. Basic but nice enough place to get a quick bite.

My daughter told me about this place. It is absolutely brilliant. You would think you were dining somewhere along Route 66! We had a quick visit with our Grandson's and loved this very authentic diner. I think I've solved the problem of where to hold my birthday meal in a few weeks time!

Amazing food, warm and friendly environment

The venue is dainty and nice and very cosy. You park under the roof of the building and walk towards the entrance to the sound of American music as you enter there's a big American presence with a jukebox in the far right corner of the restaurant and the music coming through the speakers gives the illusion that the music is coming straight from the jukebox. Everything inside the restaurant is bright and bold and unshy. We ordered steak and turf and half rack of ribs with the prawns as a starter. Drinks was an ores milkshake and coke with lemon. The waitress was nice sociable when deciding what drinks l was going to have especially having a dry January she made some recommendations of cocktails to lure me but in the end l didn't cave in, I went for a coke instead. The food came out and it was a good large portion,I wasn't too impressed with the prawns as they really didn't match their description it felt all too TGIS wanna be in that respect even though they where seasoned well and tasted nice. We couldn't finish the food ad ad portions where amazing so we asked to carry food home. Was pleasantly shocked when the milkshake came with another cup of left over milkshake from the initial order which some places would chuck away or probably recycle and put in someone's similar order but instead you actually got to get your full make portion that was made for your order. That was a really nice touch shows unstingyness and a fairness eith the consideration of customers coming to spend money it felt like a nice consideration of people spending their money. Unfortunately as soon as we reached home we both had running stomachs which Unfortunately we linked the stomach pains to the food we just had had as a few hours later we had the rest of the food as we had so much and we both where in the loo with a running belly.

Staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. The decor was very 1950s American diner, which I thought was very cool. The menu was quite different from the one shown on Google but there was plenty of choices. Would definitely return and recommend.

It’s a good diner to visit, staff friendly music playing from a duke box. A good atmosphere, ordered a meat feast burger and sweet potato fry’s. It turned up at the table “ I thought I’m not getting all that in my mouth. I had to break it down to eat it.

Great food and lovely staff. Used the Diner as a destination for a days driving, absolutely worth it, I expect I'll do it again.

Being brutally honest, from the outside I thought I'd made a mistake coming here. But once I came in the staff were friendly, the decor felt authentic and food was excellent. Not over priced and you get American portion sizes too. Well recommended
