First visit in at least 15 years yesterday ro watch Rugby, great feel about the place friendly atmosphere, will be visiting again, much sooner than15 years.

Nice evening listening to the Jersey Boys, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

The new owners mark & paul have really turned this pub around and made it such a welcoming place. Put on such a good day for the family with an amazing bbq. Going back today to try one of the highly recommended roasts! Thanks for bringing this pub back to what it could be.

Very nice place, feels like home - a chimney, cosy canapés, soft light. We already were here in 2018 and came back for the second time in 2019. Looking forward for 2020 and further!

Why was I charged £144 for a 2 night stay? Where was my cooked breakfast that you show on the photos. Very tired place, basic and uncomfortable bed. I only took the room as desperate to help family out with a poorly grandson. There was heating on the first night but nothing on the second and it was very cold for me. Every door banged and floorboards creaked. Noisy men talking for over an hour at midnight in the hallway and more using the bathroom next to my room from 5am . Not to be recommended unless you are are workman that will sleep anywhere.

OMG! STOUT OUT TO THE MOST TERRIBLE B&B OWNER OF ALL TIME! THE MAN MUST NOT BE ALLOW TO CONTINUE IN THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE HE JUST SET OUT HIS DOG TO ATTACK US BECAUSE WE ONLY REQUESTED TO PUT THE DOG AWAY! THAN STARTED CALLING US ALL RACE NAME -BLACK ARE TO BE KILL BY DOGS! REPORTED HIM TO THE KENT POLICE!

We stayed here a few days, the staff were wonderful, Mark was very helpful with a great sense of humor, My disabled son loved him. He explained that their was a few renovations at the moment which was fine with us. The bathrooms have been upgraded and are lovely. Bedrooms are a little dated but expected for an old world pub. However they are in line to be upgraded as well. I would recommend this establishment as a place to stay.
