The Golden Lion in Gravesham

First time I've been here for many years. Well impressed. Nice safe garden for kids the staff very friendly, a real old pub feel & a good range of beers. Food prices excellent & food looks good. Will visit again very soon

In the midst of beautiful countryside this is agreat traditional pub that serves delicious lunch snacks and evening meals at reasonable prices. Range of beers, including 3 real ales, as well as wines and spirits. Great super efficient friendly manager. Locals are very affable and helpful.Well worth a visit.

Some lunch food selections from the menu were not available but ladylady allowed us to also select from the evening menu as well.5 star service with landlady very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Reasonably priced meals.Tradional pub with dart board and log fire. I am sure we will return

We called in the Golden Lion on Saturday, on the spur of the moment thing. Bumped into a couple of people who we had not seen for a long time. The person behind the bar was very attentative and everyone in there was very friendly and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely call in again.

Friendly country pub. Tend to go lunchtime when the menu is a little more limited but still plenty to choose from. Good range of beers.

My wife and I went there yesterday (Thursday ) fantastic meals Excellent customer service. friendly staff great friendly atmosphere, would recommend the sausage and mash, AND baked potato. Great value food well worth the visit fantastic location will go again

Sunday lunch Sunday 24th October I have eaten here many times. Usually very nice. This Sunday lunch was disappointing. Roast potatoes tasted and looked like they were out of a packet, meat was dry and wafer thin, (not cut from a joint) and cauliflower cheese was mush.

Excellent service. Fabulous garden and play park for children and dogs are welcome a great find!! A proper English pub. Food served too!!

The pub has done an amazing job of opening up after the lockdown, fantastic beer, food and staff. Can't wait to go back.
