Haven't been in for a while, but I visited after I fell in the mud along the river. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or considerate . Despite my mud encrusted state, they made me welcome, they pointed me in the direction of the rest room, where I cleaned up a tad. Enjoyed a pint before making my journey home. Lovely people, great atmosphere and a very well kept pint.

Excellent service in this cozy little pub on the Thames. Sunday lunch was 1st class, very traditional even Prawn Cocktail as one of the starters which was delicious. All the staff were very welcoming and very friendly. So lovely to see the regulars playing cards too. Highly recommended!!! Booking is advised.

Wonderful food and so much. Just like a home cooked Sunday lunch, actually even better. Only 1 star down because little bits of the service, like no spoon to serve the vegetables BUT its hardly worth a star. Will recommend and go back again.

Wow what an amazing little find, the food was incredible, We went yesterday for the Bacon and Onion Pudding and were not disappointed, The Staff were very friendly and couldn't welcome us enough.Although from the outside it looks like it may need a bit of TLC, on the inside it is Cosy and Welcoming. Will definitely be going to return

A friendly reception, very generous and fresh food. The prices are incredibly good value. Could do with sprucing up - but it is a dockyard bar, after all.

Fantastic pub out on the waterside. Brilliant landlady running a tight ship. Lol great food. Brilliant value and beer is kept in tip top order. Yes its off the beaten path but you realy need to go down that track to visit here. Children friendly and dog friendly too. A few pictures for the fisher persons as well.

Popped in for the odd pint many times over the years. This time finally tried the food.Superb food. Huge portions and good prices.Very friendly as ever in there. This time also got chatting with regulars too which is always an excellent part of a pubs atmosphere.

A truly unexpected treat hidden amongst the rougher edges of the Thames. Terribly well-priced with outstanding portions. A must go to for a bite to eat and a couple of pints by the river.Lovely staff, food and locals beers.

Lovely pub, looks like the lockdown has resulted in a really nice facelift. There’s usually several real ales but only one at the moment due to COVID. Food is genuine home cooking and plentiful. Views from the benches across the Thames are stunning. Beautiful part of the country.
