The Woodlands in Gravesham

I've always enjoyed visits to The Woodlands over the years and today was no exception thanks to the reasonably priced tasty food and friendly, efficient team. Special thanks to Chris for managing to secretly sneak the birthday candle on to Mum's birthday steak & to our server for joining in singing Happy birthday too & for being so good humoured 🎶 🥩 😁 Very comfortable, good facilities and Covid measures made us all feel safe too. Thanks again & Long live The Woodlands ☺ 🍴

Really nice meal tonight, staff were welcoming and friendly, didnt have wait long to be seated. Received drinks near enough straight away, was given time to think of what to eat, order taken and didn't wait long for meal to arrive, food was lovely, don't have any complaints, was given time to finish drinks and wasn't hurried at all. Nice atmosphere, Would recommend visiting.

A good service inspite of only two waitresses working. The food is superb and tasty.

Table booked for 7pm, finally seated at 7.30 after we chased up, no sign of service by 7.53 so we left...Whilst I appreciate that they appeared short staffed, as the booking was only made an hour in advance, I feel that they shouldn't have been taking bookings that they weren't equipped for.

The wife and I popped in by chance and I'm glad we did We had a really nice breakfast well cooked and very hot well presented. Great atmosphere and excellent service from helpful staff.Highly recommended.

This beefeater has a great standard of service. The server was nice and attentive. We got the unlimited refills, every time our glasses were empty we were offered a refill fairly quickly. The food was at a good standard. I got the pulled beef open sandwich, I would give it an easy 7/10

If i could rate it 0 ⭐️ i would. Went today for unlimited breakfast. There was 9 of us. No glasses for orange juice so can’t have that, no mugs or tea bags but did after asking, manage to get 2 whole tea bags for a table of 9. No pastries. Staff slow and not really socially up to speed for human contact. When the waitress came (eventually after 30min) to take our breakfast order she said they don’t have eggs. What company serving breakfast runs out of eggs? The Beefeater is the answer! Left after that and feel i still wasted money though i didn’t pay anything. Went to JK’s in Riverview park and had a breakfast with you guessed it! 🍳 🥚 Honestly don’t waste your time.

Really disappointed. Kids meals were like microwaved plastic and burnt. Desserts were sloppy, with dry cake/brownie in them with rubbery hard churos from the microwave. Meal was ok in general, burger was nice though too pink, everyone at the table had same disappointing food. Edible if your hungry enough.

Rather splendid welcome, brilliant staff for putting up with me and my plus one..... she had the large wine 🍷 I had the classic pint of wife beater, Mixed grill was on point 👉 rather fabulous indeedy, would recommend 👌

A good selection of pub food with great service.We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant on a Saturday evening. We didn’t pre-book (although for more than 2 guests I recommend booking) and we’re seated relatively quick.The servers were fast and the drinks were replenish efficiently.The food was delicious! You would normally expect “pub food” to pretty much standard with no real authenticity, but, the food here was brilliant.I would definitely recommend this place.
