Visited on a Sunday morning, booking is recommended, as quite busy but staff were amazing and accommodating. All you can eat style buffet breakfast with free drinks refill. Wheelchair accessible also.

Unfriendly reception staff, berated us for not including our 20 month old baby in the booking. Made a huge deal out of it. They acted like it was a matter of life or death. It's always nice to go out for lunch and get told off like a toddler!Food below par.

Lovely dinner. The restaurant was busy but the staff were constantly bringing out new pots. There was a small wait for a couple of items. Special mention for the man serving the meat. What a trooper. Didn't stop working and with a smile on his face, despite it being very busy. I'd go back again. 10 on 10 for the food and service.

Came for breakfast whilst away for the weekend and was not disappointed. Really good value for money and everything was really nice. Only criticism was staff kept pestering to see if we were okay but then when we wanted to pay, they disappeared and took forever yo get the bill and card machine

The second visit had starters and drinks all good no problems.Go to get mains and two main meat run outTurkey looked dry and looked like it had rested for hours beef wasn't looking much better. No point having a roast without the main part of the meal so walked outI bet you wouldn't get away with only paying half the bill.

Easy enough to book online about 2 years since we last went. Pleasantly surprised open arrival as greeted by a waitress and led to our seats. We were asked if we were having the carvery and wanted to order drinks which we did. Tables were very clean despite it being quite busy at 5.15pm.Drinks arrived and we were advised weCould join a small queue for the carvery. The carvery was very nice and was accompanied by some banter from the cook. The food was enjoyable. Once finished the waitress asked if we wanted some puds which we promptly ordered.Again the afters hit the sweet spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our early evening out.We asked for the bill. We left a reasonable tip for a friendly waitress.Great to finally to be able to eat out again after such a long time.

Popped in for impromptu lunch. Lucky to get a table in this busy restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive and the roast offered was delicious. We waited a little for our favourite meat to be replenished and enjoyed the great range of vegetable dishes. Perfect lunch.

·

Very tasty carvery. Lovely waitress and barlady, who lent us her lighter to light our birthday cake candles ! Lack of beers because delay in delivery but that apart, a really nice experience

Had a lovely midweek roast followed by dessert. Had good choice of veg including parsnips and sprouts. Was quite busy but no delay in being served.

Went for breakfast. Good location and parking. Staff polite and we were seated promptly. Waitress didn't ask if it was our first experience or explain the procedure for getting tea and coffee.Food was okay, although disappointed there was no black pudding. However, at £4.99 eat as much as you like with unlimited tea and coffee, you can't really complain!Yorkshire pudding for breakfast!!Overall, convenient and satisfactory for a quick, sit down breakfast.
