It is not Indian food they serve here. This is disgusting food ..appalling in every level! Ordered butter chicken, saag paneer, chilli chicken and garlic naan..shocked beyond words at the quality! The butter chicken was actually a korma ..the worst I have ever tasted! There were bits of dessicated coconut throughout the dish and it was sweeter than a crumble! The saag paneer had the same gravy as the korma and the greens were slimy n disgusting beyond words! The naan was leathery n hard to chew. I was so looking forward to digging my teeth into some yummy Indian food, but I was disappointed to say the least. Please people of Guildford ..open your eyes ..this isn't Indian food at all .. we didn't just waste £40 ..but our lovely long weekend meal has been ruined too! Never would we order from this place ever again!!!!!

Worst Indian food I have ever had. I ordered chicken korma, nan, rice and bombe fried onions. The onions were not even fried properly. They were soft and uncooked. The korma looked like a paste dish. Honestly horrible, it’s fine never again

It is inside the Astolat Pub, won’t see any signs until you go in & see the name written on a chalkboard by a register near a pool table. It threw me off 1st time, so want to let people know. They have meal deals every Tuesday, & the food is tasty.

I just ordered one curry- mutter paneer and it was such a rubbish...it felt like I'm having some dessert instead of curry...not going to order from them anymore. Usually after delivery they ask for review and this what the have replied back."Anaj Indian TakeawaySORRY WE SELL OUR RECIPE, THAT IS OUR MOST POPULAR DISH. THANKS"I am an Indian so I exactly know how a Mutter Paneer is, and I even prepare it by myself, I ordered only because I was not having time to prepare it due to my shift and they have put grated coconut in it as well...it spoiled my hunger and couldn't eat the nice pooris prepared by me.

We order Lamb Saag and Jalfrezi, they were terrible. The curries were extremely salty. We had to take the meat out to eat with the rice. The worst curries that we have ever tasted.

I ordered off deliveroo and my korma came with chicken that wasn't full cooked. I was pink. The rice and naan was nice.

Great food.Rubbish web ordering and serviceFood is absolutely lovely. Best Indian that we’ve tried in Guildford. 4 mains was plenty for the 5 of us. Really good heat, tender meat and lovey naan.Web ordering appeared easy, but after 25mins no notification or phone call. I called them and web order had to be manually entered apparently. Outcome was incorrect price, no rice and a 1hr 15min wait from the web order. A shame the lady who I called then asked the driver to charge me for rice which turned up 15mins later! We might order again because of the food, but will go somewhere else with better service.

Highly recommended. Beautiful presentation, lovely taste and friendly service by kitchen Staff. We have ordered Veg. Biryani and Sweet & Sour Veggies(Dhansak) with rice. I don’t think I have had this delicious Indian food anywhere else in Guildford.

We ordered through Just Eat, the food was an hour and a half late, arrived luke warm, korma was watery and they were missing one of the curries we had ordered. Called Just Eat to complain that it was late, restaurant told them it had left and would be with us within 15 minutes, we called 20 mins later and they said it was just leaving.. Their way to make it up to us? Free poppadoms.. Not impressed

I have order food from just Eat website, the quality wasn't great at all. I have had madras curry before but this one had soo much onions, no potato and only few chickens. Won't order curry from this place again.
