What an amazing night. Enjoyed meeting up with old mates for some drinks, served by the sickest bartender we’ve ever had. Josh was a legend when it came to recommending new drinks and pouring the best pints every time. Would recommend going out for laughs and a good time - especially if Josh is handling the bar!

The seating was fine but it was disappointing that there was no table service outside as it was a nice day. Once we where sat down we waited about an hour for the first dish which was wrong. After about an hour and forty five we finally got the starters for the kids and adults.after that we waited another half hour and we got our mains and fifteen minutes after we got our deserts but while we where eating our mains one of the children was asking for ketchup so we asked the waiter and he took about

13 of us went for a double Birthday celebration (1st one in 2years). Restaurant clean and impressive. Food good WHEN WE EVENTUALLY GOT IT. Our waitress was New and obviously didn't know how to cope with a large party. But given no assistance by more qualified staff. The kitchen was very slow, to the extent that the Management were overheard going into the kitchen and shouting 'what the hell is going on in here'. I wouldn't make the long trip to visit here again. Unless I was guaranteed a better experience.

Paid for breakfast whilst staying at Premier Inn (next door, which is actually joined to Beefeater). Breakfast was lovely, loads of selection of spread, coffee machine, pancakes, bagels, white/brown bread. Can’t go wrong.First day was made to place our order for hot breakfast (some reason the waiter did not know what a “sunny side egg” meant) and second day they had a buffet system, but food seem to be less than warm. It seems like most of the food lacks any salt and by the time you use the salt shaker (which are salt rocks) the food gets too salty. Not much selection of bakery or fruits, would love to see more fruit, yoghurt and healthier breakfast optionsAs for dinner: probably horrendous as I was starving. My partner had ordered a burger meal, which lacked flavour and salt he said. As for me, I had ordered a ribeye steak which I asked to be made medium well with garlic butter and peppercorn sauce to go with it. Once it arrived, the steak looked like it was grilled and almost burnt. Well overdone I’ll say, no flavour, dry and a waste of a ribeye. Had it sent back as my braces could not eat the “steak” at all. Second time round, cooked a little better but uneven as some of the meat was well done and some was medium well. No garlic butter or salt to taste; the peppercorn sauce could have been more creamier, so everything was reallly bland. And for some reason my portion of chips decreased when my meal arrived the second time. Considering it wasn’t busy at the time, I felt that the cooks could have spent more time on flavouring and looking at the quality of the food. The staff was very helpful and burger was mediocre but don’t bother getting a steak. Can’t comment on dessert, as my main meal let me down so I didn’t bother ordering any. Prepare to have quite bland food as most of it lacks any flavour and seems to be quite dry.

I try not to give 1 star reviews but this place actually deserves it, the day we went it was quiet but it was not a great visit. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated, my friends drink arrived and it was wrong, took 30 minutes to get the correct drink, ordered 2 steaks with sauces, both arrived well done instead of medium rare, only one had a sauce with it, the onion ring sides were like rocks. Wasn't the only table with a problem as the table around us complained too and the manager didn't seem to really care.

Cooked breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order, the continental breakfast was slightly on the poor side.... there where no pan au chocolate, pan au raisen or crumpets during our visit. There was 1 muffin and 1 yogurt which got taken with in 5mins of us arriving and they where not replenished either. We got there at 9. But food that was available was good as was the service :)

Very good selection for breakfast. Large seating area made it easy to sit away from other occupied tables. The place looked a bit tired and needing a bit of maintenance. Friendly service.

Absolutely awful. My boyfriend and myself went here as he said Beefeater restaurants are quite good but we were there for an hour and a half just waiting and eating one meal. Service was so bad. Just after we arrived a 4 people group came in and sat near us. They too were waiting ages for service. They didn't even place their order before they got up and left. The food was no better. I could've cooked something better at home.

Absolutely terrible. We went here for a birthday meal.Burgers where cold. Asked for vegan burgers with normal cheese as not vegans just veggies and the waitress just didn't listen to are order. Lamb was so over cooked you couldn't cut it with a knife. New potato where rock hard. Ask for no avocado on another burger and we still got it.Post mix drinks where like water, I informed the barman and he told me it was just my taste. I work in hospitality myself so I know when the postmix syrup has or is running out.Service was terrible. Waitress lent across other people's meals when delivering food even though there was plenty of space behind her. No empty glasses where taking off the table in the 2 hours we was there. We have been here a few times and enjoyed ourself but last night was a joke. Will we return........definitely a big HUGE NO

I love eating at Beefeater. First time at this one. Waited almost 15mins to be seated. Waited over half an hour for our food which was absolutely disgusting. I had a bacon, avocado grilled chicken burger. Bacon was literally fat only. Avocado was a weird colour. Fries were not nice either. My sons pizza was awful too. Absolute disappointment.
