We ate here on a Friday night ahead of going to the theatre. The pub was very noisy but not rowdy, which unfortunately upset our autistic son, but that is our fault for not doing our research. However, we could not fault the food, which was excellent. We had a burger, cod and sausages and all three were beautifully cooked. I had the apple pie for dessert and it just melted in the mouth. Excellent service too, both courses served and eaten within the hour.

The Sunday roast is good but better to have the cocktail menu on the table

What a great pub!Walked in, awesome atmosphere.Staff were attentive & polite.Food was top notch pub grub.Really loved the secret garden.Didn't catch his name, but the bar man with the long hair, every pub needs an employee like you.

Excellent pub near the River Wey. We visited as a party of 7 and were accommodated. Despite the pub being busy our food was served promptly and was really tasty. It was quite unusual to find a pub that catered for dogs with beds, towels and ice cream! Worth a visit any time.

Food was far from tasty. Meat is barely chewable, barely finished half of Sunday roast. I would not go again there. Tgere are plenty of good pubs with much better quality of food.

I cannot recommend this establishment enough! They hosted us for our wedding “reception” and even on a busy Friday night were so accommodating of our large group, that ranged from toddlers to grandparents! Food was absolutely delicious, came out quick and the outside sitting area even in the rain was warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and ours on our special day!

Really glad I decided to have my leaving do at The Britannia. The outdoor setup was superb. The staff were accommodating, really helpful and promptly answered all my email queries . Most importantly, food was excellent and worth the price. This pub is a Guildford gem and I will surely be back again in the future!

Big selection of lagers. Good food options which are at a good quality. They allow dogs and go as far as to provide dog beds and treats which is cool. Lovely back garden which is undercover. Also a selection of board games and other bits to play for free lovely place.

If one has a dog, then this is an ideal place to visit. It is an extremely dog friendly environment. I am not a dog owner, but I was impressed with the thought that went into providing a great environment for dogs, such as dog treats and a pile of dog beds.SERVICE - The members of staff were extremely friendly. The food was served quickly and the members of staff were welcoming. I cannot think of anything that they could have done better. The young man who served the food was very nice. The woman behind the bar was lovely.FOOD - The portions were generous and the menu was really nice.ATMOSPHERE - Not too crowded and there was plenty of room to sit outside. If you visit, take the time to see things such as the various lampshades, the photographs on the walls and just the general decorations.I recommend this place. It is very clean, the menu is lovely and the members of staff are kind.***I attended this place again on 22 August 2021. Please, if you visit this place take the time to look at the back of the pub. It is intriguing and just so interesting. The members of staff were kind and lovely. The toilets were also extremely clean. They also have a Book Swap, which I think is amazing. I obtained a book and although it might not be the height of literary sophistication, I am sure that it shall keep me interested! This place is absolutely wonderful and I would go there again.***
