Visited THREE times in one week!! Enjoyed my mid-week lunch so much, that I returned for their Sunday Roast. Enjoyed that so much, I returned again mid-week for lunch. Delicous food and lovely staff.

Tira de Ancho, truly the king of steaks. Cooked perfectly by Cau! Go at lunch for excellent service! It gets very busy in the evening, book ahead!

Highly recommended!! Very modern funky restaurant interior. The service was amazing, friendly, helpful and willing to offer recommendations on food. The food was amazing. We had steak, rump and ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Dessert was beautifully presented and tasted amazing.Cocktails and drinks, great range. Decent gin brands, super cool dessert cocktails too. Will be back soon!!

We really like Cau. The food is very tasty and the menu is filled with options to choose from. Our favourite is the platter providing a chance to taste all their beefy delights. I only give it 4 stars because several times we have been and it had been pretty busy but their service still always seems so slow. Both on arrival to the getting the table cleared and requesting the bill. We continue to go back because the staff are super friendly, the drinks menu is generous and the taste of the food is worth it. Definitely book to avoid disappointment. Oh and students (even us mature folk) can get 20% discount on selected nights.

Been here with my dad last night, and let me begin with giving a glowing review on the customer service. The waiter we had was super friendly and being an adventurous foodie, I asked him what he would recommend, and he enthusiastically gave his recommendation and I must say this place is a steak lovers dream. An absolutely massive steak cooked to perfection and everything else that came with it was just lush and the menu has plenty to choose from. This is the 2nd time I've dined here and I have been wowed on both occasions. One thing to bear in mind is that it can be pricey. Don't get me wrong, it was a massive steak, delicious and worth every penny, but I would consider preparing to spend at least £40-£50 per head. The steaks vary in price of course (the one I picked was about £30), but if you want to be adventurous, then I would suggest maybe saving up for it. But I promise you, the food really does deliver and you'll know where the extra money went, and the staff are super friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it :)

A surprisingly good Argentinian steak house on Guildford High Street. On average expect to spend around £25/£35 a head if you do three courses, a bit more if you add alcohol to that. However, they don't only have steaks, they have burgers, salad etc... Though we had ribeye with sweet potato chips, and can genuinely say that it was all cooked to perfection. They also have a lunch menu for around £15 a head which is great value if you love Rump. The decor takes a little getting use to, a little bit like entering a futuristic American dinner, and the bathrooms where freezing. But that's a small issue when you compare to the amazing food and the friendly staff. Our waitress was OK, nice enough, but the owner then went to each table and was super friendly and lovely, so very attentive and we rarely had to wait long. That said, we went for lunch, so it might be a different story at dinner. All in all, a wonderful lunchtime treat with friends, and plenty of space if you need it for larger parties.

Breathtaking steak and tasty wines to match. Food-wise I would recommend without a doubt. Only 4 stars because it set me and a friend back £75 each for a meal. Bit steep. As long as you're flush, you needn't worry.

Lovely warm atmosphere on entry, greeted by young, happy and fun staff! The staff are very well traine and very helpful. Food arrives very quickly, whilst still hot and fresh, excellently presented, well portioned and extremely tasty! Meals are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The steaks arrive on their own and chips are on the side which makes the plate look empty, not a great move as presentation is everything. Meal for 2 usually costs around the £70 mark. Ouch.

Lovely table on the top floor. Place has a great buzz and atmosphere about it. Service was faultless. The only issue I had was that my steak was asked to be prepared rare and it was medium, but the flavour and seasoning of the meat was so good that I didn't want to wait for another to be cooked. Recommend for any occasion, but would definitely book!
