Great pub, quick service and a nice cold reasonably priced beer. Chatty and helpful staff and the manager seems nice too! Saw they’ve got bands on soon so I’ll definitely be back!

Had some refurbishment work to do in the area, and popped in for a meal on route home. Wasn’t disappointed. Food was cracking, and fairly priced. Great welcome and service, topped with an actual goodbye which is rare in a town centre boozer nowadays. Cheers team.

Fab food and atmosphere. A mixed group of 8 all ordered separately and all got served simultaneously even though we hadn’t expected that. Well done!

Loved our visit to the George Abbot. We had the Beef roast on Sunday and it was great. Well done to Polly who was in the kitchen. Danielle was behind the bar. She was really friendly and talked about the events that would be coming up soon; so we will be coming back for the band nights. Might even try one of the great selection of Gins that they’ve got on display.

Great atmosphere and inviting decal. Had some brilliantly poured pints over the football on the many easy to view screens within the pub and had exceptional service from Polly and the hilarious Jude; who ensured that all the patrons were always laughing and having a pleasant time. Will definitely be returning and will be recommending to all my friends and family. Look forward to trying some food next time I visit.

Great food & perfect atmosphere for a family meal. Ricky - top chef & hero for serving my wife’s gravy separately - thanks. Polly & James - prompt, attentive & friendly service. Simple but good pub menu, I’d recommend the Beef & Ale Pie and Big Fish & Chip meal…

Really friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Prices are reasonable, playlists are good and it's great that they have the bonus of the games to choose from.Overall, a brilliant pub.

Great location with ample parking. Reasonably priced drinks. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Was looking forward to sampling some food but unfortunately kitchen was closed yesterday evening.

Beer had lipstick all over the glass. Returned it, bar lady didn’t even look at me - just muttered ‘get her another one’ to a young lady. No apology.I think washing your crockery is a basic level of cleanliness. Particularly given how high covid rates are currently. Won’t be returning sadly.

Had our works Xmas party here. Food was great the drinks were great too. Plenty you choice with alcohol so you will find something you can drink. Lovely atmosphere and very very clean. Will definitely go back again
