Happy Garden in Guildford

Omw. The food here is absolutely disgusting. How r they still in business? Who patronizes them? N how r ppl not getting sick?Bland, tasteless, well I wouldn't say tasteless. It tastes n smells like chemicals, rubber, disappointment, and regret. I ordered the "seafood" fried rice thru deliveroo and thankfully the riders were nice enough but looked shady , scary and unkempt. i almost threw up after 1 spoon. Had 2 bin the whole thing. There was a black rubbery thing that was supposed to be some type if sea food but u could tell it was not washed at all. When I cut into it, green dry substance came out of it. Great heavens.

Very unprofessional place, my order was late 1 hour and I called the store and the guy was very rude and impolite to me on the phone, kept telling me that if I keep calling he won’t delivery my food and that I won’t receive a refund, then hung up on me. I’m afraid to say that I’ve had a very unpleasant experience with Jasmine Gardens’ customer support line, and hope that the necessary action will be taken to put a stop to this rude and unorthodox behaviour. Don’t order from this place the food isn’t that great either.

The opening times state quite clearly MIDDAY, yet the shop is ALWAYS SHUT at that time. This is most inconvenient and time wasting for prospective customers. Please make corrections showing CORRECT opening times. WHEN does the takeaway open?

They overcharged me for every dish. (added 80p) to each dish then said It was because of Deliveroo. I ordered through calling them and using there website, not Deliveroo etc.Then they claimed I hadn't even placed an order with them at all. Then about after 10 minutes later they finally read what I had ordered back me. So they admitted I had ordered.They had added extra dishes to my order? Which I did not order?? I also never even received these extra dishes? Which I had to pay for..Naturally I call to complain, Once they finally accepted I had ordered from them after the initial denial. I am then offered the dishes for free next time?!!!!?Why would I want the dishes free next time??? When I have already paid for them and not received them this time? SO that wouldn't be receiving them for free. That would be me just receiving my order that Ive already paid for???Will not return, unless Im given some sort of answer or explainationTerrible

Pad Thai pretty bad. Tasteless flat noodles with none of the Thai favouring you'd expect. Crispy duck was ok.

It was quite difficult to locate as it shares the same address with a pizza shop. You will have to look closely to see the tiny Jasmine Garden sign lurking in a corner before you find them.Can’t say much about their delivery service. If you can, I’d advise to go with the pick up option. However, their menu in terms of portion and taste is great.

Ordered from here on NYE, we expected the food to be a little delayed as it is normally a very busy evening but 3 hours! W head to chase via phone, FB and even deliveroo to find out where our food was. No apology nothing. Avoid there are better Asian food takeaways and restaurants in Guildford. ALSO some of their reviews are paid for as they are from accounts reviewing all over the place all saying similar things!

If you are looking for Jasmine Garden it is actually called Pizza GoGo, we ordered a delivery at 5.40pm received a message saying food had been delivered at 8.40pm but we hadn’t received food, then tried to call Jasmine garden but phone was constantly engaged even though 2 minutes before I was held in a queue. I then drove down to the place after not finding Jasmine Garden but in fact Pizza GoGo. The man was very offhand and said my meal would be ready in 10 minutes and wasn’t interested that I had received a message to say it had been delivered. I was told I had to wait outside on a freezing night. No apology food stone cold never again I should have read the reviews before I ordered. Don’t bother

I ordered at 6PM and 3 and a half hours later I still not have received my food. I am VERY Disappointed and Angry. If it were possible I would give them 0 stars and I am DEFINITELY NOT ordering from here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Very nice lady on the phone letting me know that I missed my house number out of my delivery address and was patient in telling me I could contact deliveroo to get a refund. I really appreciated this as I suffer from social anxiety and she calmly talked me through the issue, how they did all they could and what I could do next. 10/10 for customer service and I will definitely try and order from them using my correct address next time!
