Harris and Hoole in Guildford

No breakfast as the fridge is broken. People could not care less - grubby service.

Service was fine but coffee was poor and its hardly cheap would have expected a lot better.

Harris and hole would be more appropriate. Surly staff, uncleared tables, slow service and worst of all, distinctly mediocre coffee. Never again.

As always, lovely coffee, lovely atmosphere. Love it here.

Not good at stopping people from taking other people's drinks. The plain latte that got put into a takeaway cup with syrup for me after it had been sat there for 5 minutes after someone took my large caramel latte with an extra shotWould've preferred a fresh one, paid for an extra shot and this tastes like a half of one. Got mugged off pretty much. :(

Great service from the waiter who brought water for my dogs and a very nice coffee. A bit more soul than the typical big chains. Thanks H&H.

Had the worst ever sandwich and vile bitter coffee today. No plates. Sandwich in a box as apparently the dishwasher broken. But I did see plates on tables.The guy serving felt like he doing me favour.This place was good when it first started now it’s dirty and just awful. Won’t be going again. Better places to visit in Guildford.

Offering a great selections of teas, coffees, snacks and treats, Harris and Hooks is well worth stopping in to.Located in the heart of Guildford town centre, this charming little coffee house offers pleasant surroundings, with a large amount of seating space.It hits the 'Shabby Sheek' style just right, and is clean and airy with it. The staff are friendly, and offer good table service.I love their earthenware crockery, it fits the feel of the place perfectly.The food and drink is standard coffee house fare, at a good price. Lovely coffee and good cake selection (including gluten free and vegan). The staff are knowledgeable of the products and really friendly and happy to chat. Lovely lounge upstairs with comfy chairs and books (although some of the chairs lean back a bit too far for my liking!)This place has well earned its Best Customer Service Award!
