Harris + Hoole in Guildford

Beautiful setting, beautiful layout. The staff are incredibly friendly and upbeat - it seems like they love their jobs! Also the coffee tastes great, and it’s dog friendly too!

Pretty standard coffee, well sourced out so I'm told idkStaff are fit

Absolute rip off. Really watered down ice coffee and iced peach tea. Lots of ice very little of anything else - just three very expensive glasses of water with minimal taste or flavour. Either don't order iced drinks or avoid this coffee house altogether.

Hot drinks take a really long time to be made, even when there isn't a queue and they are only ever lukewarm.

Not good at stopping people from taking other people's drinks. The plain latte that got put into a takeaway cup with syrup for me after it had been sat there for 5 minutes after someone took my large caramel latte with an extra shotWould've preferred a fresh one, paid for an extra shot and this tastes like a half of one. Got mugged off pretty much. :(

Great service from the waiter who brought water for my dogs and a very nice coffee. A bit more soul than the typical big chains. Thanks H&H.

Offering a great selections of teas, coffees, snacks and treats, Harris and Hooks is well worth stopping in to.Located in the heart of Guildford town centre, this charming little coffee house offers pleasant surroundings, with a large amount of seating space.It hits the 'Shabby Sheek' style just right, and is clean and airy with it. The staff are friendly, and offer good table service.I love their earthenware crockery, it fits the feel of the place perfectly.The food and drink is standard coffee house fare, at a good price. Lovely coffee and good cake selection (including gluten free and vegan). The staff are knowledgeable of the products and really friendly and happy to chat. Lovely lounge upstairs with comfy chairs and books (although some of the chairs lean back a bit too far for my liking!)This place has well earned its Best Customer Service Award!
