Holiday Inn Guildford Restaurant in Guildford

What a beautiful refurbishment this place has had…The reception area is beautiful with a bar and restaurant area to compliment.The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, however, the bathrooms could do with a refresh. The hallways are looking a little tired but it’s not somewhere one spends much time so I understand the priorities.I really enjoyed my stay. I’ll be back.

This is the second time we have stayed here. They have rooms with two double beds and a sofa bed so the whole family can fit in one room, which is fantastic. The hotel and rooms are very clean, the restaurant is nice. There is a pool which the kids enjoyed. Second stay, second time we have been very happy with our experience.

Stayed for two nights - the soap cannister ran out on the last day, it wasn't replaced from the last people who had stayed there! Had to use the one for the bath, didn't mention it because we were leaving. All the staff were polite and friendly, especially at reception who resolved any problems promptly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were good and adequate although there was no variation on the food from the day before. The hotel was situated away so would need a car but a large Tesco was near by which was useful.

Walked in to a lovely reception/bar area, staff member Jack was very polite and helpful. Corridors need a bit of a face-lift, but the executive room was nice, with a comfy bed and plenty of space. Shower was powerful. Only one robe and one pair of slippers, even though there were two of us. Full English buffet style breakfast was really good, expected it to be dry and boring, but everything was fresh and tasty. Would recommend a stay here.

This is the second time I've stayed, but this return trip was followed refurbishments. Parking easy and straight forward check in. All the team were friendly, keen to be helpful and answered any questions politely.Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Bed comfortable. Dining was good, lots of space, no wait for dinner or breakfast without prebooking. Food was really tasty, the only improvement would be more choice on the menu.

Renovations that have been done so far are really nice. Breakfast was very good.Rooms are looking a bit dated and worn out we had problems with the hot water at first and the toilet wasn't flushing properly but on the day we were leaving the toilet had been fixed and the water was finally running hot.Shame it was the last day before it all came together .Bed was huge but the actual quilt wasn't as big as the bedOver all acceptable as a 3 star hotel
