Jamie's Italian in Guildford

Refreshing alternative to 'chain' restaurants, Olivo is a family-run Italian. The fixed price menu has a surprisingly good range of starters and mains to choose from at a reasonable price. Service is typically Italian (in all senses). Quirky, interesting building also with some outdoor seating. For a little bit of Italy in Guildford it's highly recommended.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Guildford. The food was delicious and the entire restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

Marvellous service which caters perfectly for pre-theatre to ensure time to get to seats before curtain up. Extensive menu plus specials, that makes selection difficult as it all sounds so good. Food was delicious. So much so we all shared each other's. Very very good.

Great ambience, good service and food. Good vegetarian and vegan options. We had the polenta fritters and ratatouille with vegetables.

I've told the waiter that it was the most delicious pasta I've had in my life!We ordered a lobster pasta. It came with a garlic and tomato base which was absolutely incredible. Though there was a bit of a wait (which it did mention on the menu), it was absolutely worth it.Highly recommended restaurant! Do try their lobster pasta when you are there :)

The lobster pasta was amazing and the portion size was perfect. The staff can be cold at times, but overall a superb experience.

The staff are very nice and friendly, and food is delicious. The day of the soup is very filling- This actually could serve as a main course. Realizing ordered too much I cancelled a main course, the waiter cancelled for me happily.

Very friendly staff in there, and most importantly the food are very Italian and it is absolutely fabulous!!! You must have a try if you come to Guildford!PS: Remember to book a table before you come!

Our first visit to Olivo and we don't know why we haven't been before! The service was excellent, all staff are lovely and efficient. The food was incredible, we had 3 courses and I couldn't fault one! All portion sizes were very generous and so flavourful. The pasta sauce on my main course was the best sauce I've ever eaten. We can't wait to return again and try out more dishes from the menu, all which caught our eye when served to nearby tables.
