Maloncho Tandoori in Guildford

4 of us just received our delivered food. Starters, mains/ sides…. all generally fine. We had 4 mains, two were lamb. The lamb meat wasn’t edible. To say it was chewy was an understatement. Truly appalling. I don’t say that lightly. The general taste and presentation of the food was fine. The lamb dishes however were worse than awful. Disappointing and we won’t be re ordering from this restaurant.

Such a good Indian! The chicken tikka pathia was so good and the portions were great sizes. Order arrived on time and will definitely be ordering from here again

I ordered:Prawn Puri - okChicken Tandori - goodChicken Tikka Masala - absolutely awful. Far too much sugar to the point where it was inedible. Whatever you do, do not order this! It’s awful.Lamb Kahari - good; quite spicy however the lamb was overdone and very tough. Very chewy but the overall flavour of the dish was much better than and Masala.Naan Bread - standardOverall, I liked the food however we will not be ordering again. The chicken tikka masala was awful. Like an entire bag of sugar dumped in tomato soup. Absolutely dreadful.The delivery was during peak time so took a little longer than usual but arrived within the quoted time slot. The food arrived hot, always a bonus.However, felt the food was very overpriced for what it was and the quality.

Another great traditional curry. I am consistently impressed by the very high quality here and the friendly team. A lovely feel to the place. Everyone's favourite, surely?

Food was nice, but the hour wait between ordering and receiving our food is not good customer service. My dining companion was overcharged on the contactless payment. Won't be going back here on a busy day. And will only pay in cash to avoid being ripped off.

Good food for a reasonable price! Service could be slightly improved but the curries and sides were excellent.

Visited the restaurant on a busy Friday night. The staff were great and able to seat us even though we didn't have a booking. Yummy food and great atmosphere. I highly recommend!

This is our long time favourite curry house in Guildford. Our two young kids love the chicken pasanda and ask to come here whenever we let them. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The food was amazing well served the portion was big enough. We loved everything. The staff was very polite and always making sure everything was good.

Best Indian food in Guilford, extremely hygienic, lots of options to choose from, very polite staff and tasty food , decent quantity though the tandoori naan is super heavy .....I could barely finish one, reasonable price, will love to visit again.
