Marks and Spencer in Guildford

M&S food hall, good quality, great customer experience. That’s all I ask in a supermarket.

I stopped going to m&s as they never had my size in stock about 4 years ago. Went in today with a standard trouser purchase in mind....looked at 3 variations non in my size....34 waist....really m&s you wonder why you are struggling

No staff on the floor to assist. A regular problem. When i eventually found someone they only pointed me in the direction. Useless sales service. Also a mission going from floor to floor. Escalators not well signposted

Excellent range of products at the food hall and very clean café. Love the team there and thank for keeping the queues short and the place comfy.

Extremely disappointed with the service received by one of the employees named Jo. Ended up leaving without making a purchase of few dresses I liked. The employee came across as rude and unprofessional. Please do a better job of training your staff in customer service.

Just wanted to say my son and wife went to M&S Guildford. My son was looking to buy his first suit and shirt for his prom.How lucky that we met Kevin in the suit department - what a joy.He guided us and knew exactly the size, fit and style.In these challenging times and online shopping, it is imperative that retailers like M&S realise the importance of team members like Kevin. Without people like him, there is no experience.Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us. Thanks Kevin.

I love this store, the fact that a good number of people have worked here for so many years tells you everything. They have kept this rather old store so clean and safe with plenty of staff on hand to guide shoppers and manage the numbers entering the food hall via several routes, no easy task! The food offering has been consistently good and when it comes to Christmas they are for me simply the best. Thank you all and Happy New Year from a fellow shopkeeper 😊

M&S foods are my favourite. Fresh and great quality. Fishes are excellent and right price. Previously M&S changed their some of the fishes price interim but reverted back. Good decision. Foods and fruits are fresh. Always loved.

Nice place for good quality shopping. Has a nice coffee shop in first floor with a sight on high street; nice cosy place to wait for your family members while doing their shopping. The coffee shop menu is rich and you can have even a descent breakfast.

Has a reasonable selection of clothes as only M&S can do. The food hall is great if you want the unusual. They also have a good selection of wines. Since l first wrote this review l have to say that the food hall has been a revelation. The food may be a tad more expensive but the portions are larger and of a better quality. Over the Christmas period there have been some very good wine promotions especially in the champagne department. I have to say they have won me over and l now go out of my way to shop there whether it is s large outlet or a smaller M&S food.
