The best greek food I had out of Greece. Really tasty and a good portion. The staff is very friendly.

Our go to place when we don't know what to have!Meat the Greek is our comfort food. The portion sizes and quantity is fantastic and every time the food is exactly as we remember from last time. The consistency and quality of food makes us keep coming back!

In Guilford for the night and needed a light bite to get us through the evening. This was 10 minutes from our hotel and with such good ratings we gave it a shot. Never tried Greek style food and I was not disappointed! We had a sausage pitta and a chicken pitta, both were absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be back here next time we’re in Guilford!

fokin phenomenal food man. I never leave reviews but this restaurant is something else. The flavour and freshness is unbelievable. Their tzatziki is AMAZING when dipped with the souvlaki and the pita bread. I wish you guys had restaurants all over the country.1 bit of advice to anyone ordering: Order the lamb/beef kebabs or yeeros. their chicken is good but their lamb and beef is absolutely top tier.

Coming back to Guildford after 5 years Meat the Greek is always been tasting the same. Its hands down the best Greek takeaway recommending the pita souvlaki and pita yeeros. Its always worth a trip to go down to Guildford to try it out. 10/10. I used to order this everyday when i stayed in Guildford and you should too. Cheap price amazing quality food. Ordered on Deliveroo. One item was missing. Food was almost cold. It was full of flavour but would’ve been much better hot. Was told good things about this place but not sure I’d order again.

Foods absolutely fantastic.Staff are friendly and helpful.Lack of veggie options (but I mean, the place is called MEAT the Greek)£6 for something tasty and filling from some friendly people. Can't go wrong.

Can't recommend enough! As a Greek person who now lives in Surrey I was so happy to find a Greek food restaurant close to me and the food made me think of home. Easily comparable to something I would get back home in Athens and the quality was great (better than some back home too...) Service was quick and it was lovely to get the souvlakia and go eat it in peace at the castle gardens. Although there are some tables you can sit at outside when it's not very busy.
