Best fish & chips in Guildford.

Very disappointing portion size...medium cod and chips £8....I swear, this is before I ate anything

Fish was sooo delicious! It was so tasty even without dipping it into any sauce. Worth more than what I paid for. To top it off, the owner was so friendly and welcoming as well. Nothing I can complain about, definitely come back again for more!

The fish tastes fresh and food served hot. Big food portions and very reasonable price. Staff are really friendly and the shop is noticeably clean. Will only get my fish and chips from this shop. 5 star service.

Just moved in fenced fish and chips.. I ordered haddock which was freshly cooked and chips. Got home opened thought was small potion ( as potion have been bigger in other places I have been ) but once I finished it was just right & no waste at all ( which I have had with other places) Was very tasty not overly greasy. Would definitely recommend and will be going back as two mins down the road..

Large portions, very tasty, excellent value for money. Staff are great. This is the best fish & chips in Guildford. Another shop advertises itself as the best in Guildford - no way, they are vastly inferior in every way. If I can't buy from Stoke Road shop I'll go without.

Got cod and chips from this place friday last week and my god was it amazing!! Portions were great and the price was reasonable, will for sure be coming back again soon.

Honestly some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Don't be fooled by it's understated appearance, you really won't be disappointed!I originally posted this a year ago - edited just to say... It's still excellent! Absolutely fantastic fish. Genuinely brilliant and great value to boot.
