Pho in Guildford

I'm giving this specific branch just 1 star for the service, with the hope that management will read my comment and rectify what I saw today. Just to say, I'm a great fan on Pho and love it's food. The food is always 5 star. So ... I visited Pho in Guildford tonight and the waiting time was quite long, the kitchen was very busy with take away orders which clearly upset all food delivery drivers with one waiting for over 20 mins at the door. The restaurant was not busy at all, about 5 tables inside and about 4 outside. I saw 3 different girls and a man on the floor serving customers and one would think that 9 tables in between 4 people is not that tough. I wasn't asked all those usual questions: what would you like for a drink, how is the food, would you like a desert, ... but never mind. What i noticed and upset me, is that none of the outside tables were wiped after a customer left and a new one was set down. I took pictures off all empty tables just to upload them onto here, they had food stains and little bits of food left from the previous customers. They wiped them only after realising I'm going around and taking pictures of dirty tables. They might say they wipe and sanitise them before offering to another customer, but nope. I saw how 2 dirty tables were offered to customers and all a waitress did just brought a menu sheet. That's very unhygienic to know that your fork might slip on a table where someone else fork was. Very upsetting as it's clearly a pattern and not a one off situation.And on another note I got a bit dried off mint stem and a lime slice that was very hard to squeeze into my soup...

We have tried the restaurant for first time and everything was good and the food is very healthy. Good prices and the service is quite fast.

Pho is such a interesting place, located in Tunsgate and is very easily accessible . The environment is nice and comfortable. Loads of choices on the menu and prices are reasonable. The food is delicious and freshly made. Service is good too. I will definitely be back if I’m in Guildford and yearning for some Vietnamese food.

PHO Guildford is my 8 years old son’s favourite restaurant. He always enjoyed the food and most of all seeing Donna, the manageress. She is so nice to everyone, both her customers and her staff. We always feel welcomed and relaxed in the restaurant. Recently, there has been an obvious new group of staff, but they are doing their best and Donna is working so hard to train and accommodate every customer at the same time.The food is so delicious and the selections of the menu are vast. We never got disappointed with the food nor service. I’m sure the high standard will be maintained under Donna’s leadership.

Great atmosphere, fanstaic food, the team were so friendly and knowledgeable, I loved the way the young girl explained how best to enjoy my starter, had a fantastic lunch and will definitely come back and will be telling all my friends to come too.

We always have a fantastic experience when we eat at Pho Guildford, and our dinner there last Tuesday was no exception. The food, ambiance and staff are exceptional. Everyone who has waited on us has been friendly and attentive. The manageress, Donna, is amazing and genuinely cares about the customers and staff, working extremely hard at all times. They're usually extremely busy, which says a lot about how commendable the staff are. Last but not least, it's such a relief to find a place that has so many vegan and gluten free options on the menu! Our favourite restaurant in Guildford.

We had lunch in Pho Guildford several times and the experience was great every time. Staff was welcoming and attentive. The spring rolls tasted authentic, really impressed! The Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk was a nice strength - not too strong nor too sweet. The portion size of the mains was generous. If you like beef, the beef combo pho is a brilliant choice. You get a good variety: steak, brisket and meatballs. We also ordered beef vermicelli, which was a room temperature dish. Fantastic fresh food, just fab! Will be back again soon!

Super fresh food, delicious flavours and fast reliable customer service. We were seated instantly, the wait staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food came out quickly - although maybe not the most authentic Vietnamese food but flavours are there and it does taste great. I would recommend the chicken wings which are great, otherwise their fried rice and wok fried noodles have a nice kick. Pho itself was fresh but slightly bland?

Popped in for lunch today - the staff were fantastic, warm and welcoming and very attentive, as someone who also works in the hospitality industry I always appreciate personable and approachable FOH staff and today’s visit did not disappoint! A big shout out to the manager (I forgot to ask your name sorry!) who was so lovely! Food was excellent as always, my mushroom pho hit the spot! Thank you for a really fab lunch! ✨
