Pizza Express in Guildford

(Guildford) We had 11 people in tonight and Danny served us. Really lovely service and came very quickly. He was so lovely and the food was lovely! Please pass on our thanks to him and the chefs :)

Normally a great place to go with that family but we popped in and were rudely told they had no table available. I have absolutely no issue with somewhere being too busy. It was the way that the person greeting us spoke to us. The restaurant only had a bout 10 tables occupied and i appreciate that the dinner service was about to begin and the tables may have be reserved. However she was rude, unwelcoming and almost took pleasure in dismissing us.We went to Zizzi across the road and the staff were amazing, the food was amazing both my wife and I decided that its our new fave!

Absolutely brilliant service tonight. It was so incredibly busy but the team at Pizza Express managed to get our birthday party table of 11 in and out within an hour and a half so they didn’t miss their party! Great food, amazing service and all when they were so busy. Thank you!!

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent management that night. Nothing to do with Pizza Express, but on a side note, it's a shame the Deliveroo drivers monopolise the disabled parking bay's making it difficult for people like me to visit such a great restaurant. When challenged , just say it's okay. I'm picking up food.

The service was quite slow but it was a Friday night we visited and to be fair I'd put it down to restaurants suffering at the moment due to the pandemic and being understaffed rather then our server being bad - the food was tasty at least 😊

Nice location with an airy conservatory style area at the back. Consistent Pizza Express offering. When we went we had been to 4 other similar restaurants in the high street and no others would take a walk in booking, but Pizza Express did so and got our business and created loyal customers in the process. They clearly have less issues recruiting, a positive sign!

Not bad, pizza was decent and friendly service. Obviously a chain so a bit formulaic, service was friendly but a reasonable wait for food and a couple of items missed.*Edit* - Nice to see a reply from the team, will try again in the not so distant future as was a bit busy when we went and therefore worth a revisit.

Great pizza express for a regular visit. The 2 sisters, Italian gent and other servers have offered brilliant service on so many different occasions. They are a credit to the restaurant, will continue to visit with my family.

Really enjoy eating our with the kids at Pizza Express Guildford. My only annoyance is that they remove the online booking function for Friday and Saturday nights making it seem fully booked, only to find they do this on purpose. Please don't do this it's really annoying, otherwise great Pizza and atmosphere.

Always a great lunch out with the fam. Any day trip is always accompanied with a pizza express meal. Kids happy..parents happy!The food is consistently good, so we generally review large chains on their specific quality service. The Guildford branch is very good. Friendly, swift, courteous and attentive. We will return
