Service was a little slow but it was busy at the time on a hot sunny day.Going for a mixture of foods, fish and chips, sharing platter, sauage and chips.The batter was night and light and was not oily, and it was cooked fresh.Portion sizes were pretty decent in that the fish was quite large. The chips could have been a bit more.Overall, it was nice

The venue is really beautiful and looked into details! Staff are friendly and efficient, you can see they deal with a lot of customers every day! The fish & chips was good here! We took the calamari rings, the cod and the mixed platter to share. We didn't particularly like the anchovies but overall it was a good balance quality/value! There is always a queue here as it is very popular and the area is a must-to-see in London but normally they are very good at managing it and the waiting time is never too long! Recommended!

Overall good fish and chips. Prices a bit higher than the standard. You can choose between "medium" and "big": the one in the photo is the medium one (that is still pretty big).A bit disappointing the booking experience: I initially booked with the website linked in Google Maps. However, once I arrived there there was a long queue, and we had to wait anyway. The waiter said that the accept booking only the day before, despite the tool on the website was still opened.If you go during the weekend, be prepared to wait for a lot before entering: despite they have a lot of space, they were currently understaffed, and at least a third of tables were empty with a long queue outside (at 1pm)

I absolutely love love love Poppies. My favourite still remains the fish cake, cod and mushy peas. The staff is absolutely amazing, always so kind and helpful. I am so addicted to this place. Highly recommend. The best fish and chips SERIOUSLY! I even ordered a dozen fish cake and mushy peas to freeze, they do freeze well. Just pop in oven for 20mins and its as good as freshly made!

A nice fish and chips restaurant in the heart of Camden. Portion was huge! The food came fast as well. You’ll be full! Make sure to come early or otherwise you’ll have to queue.

as always, the setting, the music is a dream come true. The 1950s are alive again. We came from Germany with 9 months old baby. One waiter was quick and fun. There is a changing table. Lots of deco, posters, old things. Mittens at Camden Market. music fantastic. The fish was not salted enough, but hardly any waiting time. As always, we really liked it.

Got a takeaway from here this afternoon. The food was prepared and dispatched swiftly. I loved the packaging and the food was packed with great care. This was by far the best fish & chips I’ve tasted to date. Chips were out of this world. The Cod & Scampi had amazing crunchy batter and nothing tasted the slightest bit greasy.You’ve won yourself a regular customer ;-)

It was an awesome experience at Poppies, tasty fish and chips and wonderful staffs. The way they treat their customers is superb. Interior of the shop is very attractive and the food is very delicious.

Best fish and chips in London. We ate chicken pie it was amazing and the apple pie. The staff is very nice. I would like to come again my next time in London
