Best takeaway in Guildford! Their lamb street food biryani is some of the best Indian food I've tasted. Always good value, hot, and delicious with very fast service!

Consistently serves up the best chicken tikka jalfrezi I've ever eaten! The food here is great quality, comes in great quantities, and is so tasty. My only sadness is that I don't think I'll find another Indian to top this one!

I've lived in Guildford for 20+ years and we have tried virtually every Indian takeaway in the area. I keep coming back to Purbani time after time for the following reasons:- Reasonable prices and good value for money- Friendly staff and decent service (although can be slow at peak times)- They can make food seriously spicy if you ask them to- Food is overall very good (perhaps not excellent, but close)- Curries are not greasy or super oily- Dedicated takeaway = no eat-in restaurant customers to compete withI would urge you to go and COLLECT IN PERSON since your food will be hotter, taste better and the resturant won't get shafted with massive fees from companies like Deliveroo/Uber Eats - keep these guys in business please!

amazing customer service!! 15% discount when you order through the website. my only gripe is that the food wasn’t that spicy but that can be customised if you ask however we forgot. the food is amazing though :) giving 4 stars as typically when i order the same dishes from other restaurants they’re spicy.

We had an outstandingly good takeaway from Purbani last night. I’d been hearing many positive reports from friends who’d been raving about how good the food was. Well it didn’t disappoint at all. There was masses of choice with lots of interesting dishes we’d never seen before. The food was delicious and didn’t have that disgusting layer of fat that comes as standard on many takeaway curries. It almost felt like a healthy option! I didn’t realise that the current owner, Miah, was the same lovely chap that has owned and run many Indian restaurants in Guildford for years. He obviously has a great attention to detail and wants to please his customers. Thanks for the excellent food. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered from Purbani on Saturday night. Busiest night of the week and during lockdown when everybody is staying in! Clearly under pressure but the young chap on the phone took time to repeat the order back to me. When we collected was all good and the food was terrific, not greasy like some, just really good food well cooked. Remember to ask for the discount when collecting. Would definitively recommend.

It's our 45th wedding anniversary and even with Covid restrictions we would still have stayed in and had a meal from Purbani. It's been the best Indian take away for years and we've always give them our patronage. If we'd ever had a bad meal we wouldn't have returned. Can't say better than that. 5 🌟
