Riverside Restaurant in Guildford

This restaurant provided over 120 meals for my church Building Launch event last Saturday and they did a great job👌🏾. The food arrived hot, they provided condiments and the fish and chips was delicious. They were not greasy and the portions were very generous. Some of the words I heard were, "best fish and chips I have ever had, well cooked, yummy and I will definitely go there even though I don't live in the area". Amazing testaments to the fab team at Riverside. Well done to you all.👍🏾

First time ordering…Ordered chips and rolls and spam fritter.. it was amazing the rolls were a lot bigger than I expected and the chips were good and fresh which I was a bit shocked as the restaurant had just opened so was frightened of reheated chips from lunch but no they where fresh and hot.. was amazing and best chip shop chips ever infect the whole meal was amazing.. will definitely order again thank you

Tried this place for the first time today, even though it's on my doorstep. Tasty food, great service, excellent value, brilliant staff. Will definitely be using Riverside Fish Bar again.

Made an order through Deliveroo. Waited 2 hours only to receive a phone call saying that they have yet to start the preparation of the food. They couldn't cancel the order or give an estimate for when the food would be ready. If you don't have the bandwidth to accept orders..then don't! Horrible experience, would not recommend.

My wife and I found this place on the Internet and the vast menu was what helped us choose this one. Boy am I glad we did, the food was amazing, absolutely faultless and the portion size was brilliant. To say we loved it we visited it twice within a week. My mother in law had a cod bites kids meal which was more than sufficient for her and that mushypea fritter was phenomenal (both times😉). The staff were very generous, friendly and helpful, we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

Best Fish and Chips in Guildford! They should open everyday from 12pm - 10pm that's how good it is! Fresh fish and very good portion sizes! Brilliant! Thank you! The other day we went, they closed at 1:30pm and lots of people were asking where we got the fish and chips from as we sat by the river and that they should open all the time. People didn't know that there was a fish and chips down the road. Well done guys!

The fish and chips are outstanding and undoubtedly the best in the area. Chips cooked perfectly - not wet or greasy and not overdone. Tried them out of curiosity but will definitely be back.Rare for me to give 5 stars but this deserves itA

Always loved this place! Great food, large range and at decent prices.Recently there was a long queue from understaffing but usually it's hot, fresh food and quick service. I'd highly suggest their seafood basket!
