The Albany Pub & Dining Room in Guildford

We visited when it was quiet. The venue really lacked atmosphere when there's only a couple of tables of people - even just dimming some lights would make it feel a bit more cosy. As a result we left after one drink but would've happily stayed for more of it felt a bit more welcoming. Member of staff was nice, although was more interested in chatting to some locals than making sure we were all served.

Tasty food. Went on Mother's day and staff gave a bar of chocolate as a gift just before leaving. 😊😊

Great service especially as we were a large booking. Friendly staff, good prices on food and drink. Look forward to coming back sometime.

Great little pub in a residential street off the main road with very nice pub food and a great atmosphere

Excellent staff, but almost no Beers on tap. Shouldn't have opened. Owner should use imagination and buy in a ton of bottled beers instead. Could be a nice pub

We regularly have a pre-Christmas, lunch here and I can say it has always been a good venue to go to. Tasty food and good beer!

Dire. Worst Christmas tree I have ever seen and music to depress the happiest Christmas Elf.

Staff were borderline friendly, I guess nearer closing time your presence can be a burden for staff wanting to go home. Beer was okay. Furniture looks old, sofas look like they were found in staff accommodation, old and tattered.
