I went in for lunch today. The owner and the lady who made me lunch were lovely.Great staff, great atmosphere, amazing food (generous portion too) and in a gorgeous location...I'm so glad I popped in!

Nice pub. The Thai restaurant inside is good too. Lots of takeaways and service to eat in was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.

·

We like this quaint country pub with large garden & car park - thai food served during the week with a varied menu - will be back again

·

Our local pub - great Thai food. Very relaxed and friendly staff!

·

Really good Thai food at reasonable prices. Real ales a bit expensive but top condition.

·

Bar staff (possibly owners) incredibly unfriendly unfortunately, my partner also noted their rudeness and unwillingness to help with queries regarding ales etc. but the Thai food in the attached small restaurant/dining area was very pleasant and the waiting staff very good.

Fantastic food. I love Thai cuisine and have eaten first hand abroad many many times.Really friendly and fun staff. If we lived round here we would deffo eat here regularly!!Lovely plates too - Thai green chicken curry served in a porcelain chicken tickled us for some reason!

Oh my gosh, the BEST Thai food! Not only a lovely pub, warm, welcoming, super friendly atmosphere but the most incredible and authentic Thai food. The menu is extensive, very reasonably priced and in my humble opinion better quality food than many Thai restaurants.Everything is made in house by the Thai chef, so, for example, the Thai fishcakes are so fresh and delicious unlike the rubbery texture that is often served elsewhere. They also have a daily specials menu which is such good value. We lived in SE Asia for 35 years and travelled extensively in Thailand and the food at the Barley Mow is as good. I highly, highly recommended a visit, truly excellent. I think we have now found our new favourite place to eat!For those with families who have children that are nervous of Thai food /spicy food, there is a limited menu of typical pub fare - fish and chips, sausages and mash etc. Which can all be made into a smaller child size portion. As well, we have a child with a severe peanut allergy, normally going to Thai restaurants makes us extremely nervous due to the fact that there is a lot of peanut used in Thai food, but we spoke to the manager about it and she was extremely accommodating, and so nothing on our table has peanuts on it/in it, and whilst my daughter with the allergy ordered fish and chips she tried all the Thai dishes we ordered and loved them!

Beautiful Thai meal for my 40th birthday. Gorgeous interior. Lovely staff. Thank you 😊

Lovely historic oak beamed pub. Good range of beers and lagers. English and Thai food served through most of the day. Some outside seating for better days. A welcome respite on the many walks in the area.
