Sat outside in heated gazebo. Was very busy, but informed straight away that there would be a bit of a wait for food. Staff attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. Cakes amazing! Keep up the good work 👍👍

Gorgeous coffee and delicious cake. Friendly charming staff. Pretty outside area. Wish I'd got a photo but was too busy eating said cake. Graciously accepting of naughty doggoes and muddy walkers.

Stopped for a coffee and a cake. Delicious coffee & walnut and the rocky road was fantastic. Perhaps a little pricey to be sat in the marquee near a bin that smells but the staff were very friendly, would go again

We used to really like this place but haven’t been since the pandemic started. Decided to visit today and were really disappointed. The food was decent although not extraordinary however when the time to pay came we were charged for the two items we never consumed. I only realised it because I normally do calculations in my head and it was way more. When I asked to see the bill and pointed it out to the staff at the till, she just refunded me the difference but didn’t look remotely apologetic. If anything she seemed annoyed I have noticed. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

Wow. Absolutely exceeded expectation on all levels (given we just turned up with zero expectations after a long walk). Seated quickly, great choice of food, flavour combinations and service was faultless. Our group loved the breakfast bun - phenomenal bacon and perfect egg, very enjoyable burgers and the club sandwich was outstanding. Perfectly paired with their milkshakes. Would be sure to visit again is in the area. Thanks!

Had brunch in the marquee, lovely and warm, service was great, breakfast a little slow but very tasty. Would have preferred to have sausage without herbs but not an option. Very busy even on a Tuesday!!

Amazing amazing amazing!We have been going to the DD for many years and it’s always fab! This visit was for our eldest’s 13th birthday. Stopped off after airhop. Requested an Oreo chocolate cake a few weeks earlier and it didn’t disappoint, it was just so pretty and moist and yummy!! So glad we got to bring some home. Nothing was too much trouble, it can be chaos with a large group but it all went so smoothly. The staff were just wonderful adding candles and checking everything was good. The outside space was super pretty and just finished off a lovely day great memories thanks to Christy and the team x

Stopped here on a walk to get out the cold. Food was lovely and the cake selection was all so delicious it was hard to choose. I would recommend the hot chocolate too!

Great use of the out door space to enjoy coffee and cake. They have an array of cakes. I had coffee and walnut with a well made flat white. Lovely cafe in a very picturques village.

Fantastic service for our big group (16 pax) attentive servers with water for the table, orders done well and food brought swiftly. The food itself was delicious with no complaints and only good words from the whole group. With the cafe being dog friendly and happy to accommodate two young pups even when excitable.Even as a large group payment was smooth as all paid at the till when leaving with the staff able to split items off easily. You can also pay at the table but wasn't ideal for our group. Highly recommended a visit if on Shere you won't be disappointed, the breakfast for me was delicious.
