The Ivy Castle View in Guildford

Great food, with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere with an air of class. Decor was spot on and the service was exceptional. Impressed with the variety of options on the vegetarian menu. The profiteroles for desert were the icing on the cake and out of this world.

The Ivy in Guildford is beautiful with lovely ambiance to it. The vibe of the place made it memorable. The service from welcoming you, to the waiter at the table was impeccable. The view and balcony seating was fantastic. Food was great and desert was delicious. The Guildford Ivy is better than the original Ivy, in fact any of The Ivy restaurants. The service and food was second to none. Highly recommend a visit.

The cocktails and food were tasty and the staff was kind and lovely.They have a good range of food for different type of diets with very good presentation and good size dishes, hence the price.The ambiance and decoration is superb.Will be back

Went in with my friend for some cocktails. We were seated at the bar and the barman was very attentive. He was also very competent and the cocktails were lovely! We also had some nibbles. Would definitely return and recommend.

Service was great. Food was stunning. Complimentary glass of Prosecco for Mum on Mother’s Day. Best Ivy experience I’ve ever had… couldn’t fault anything. And Mum absolutely loved it! So 5 stars all round!

Amazing meal this weekend at our local Ivy branch. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The atmosphere was really buzzy, I've never seen this restaurant quiet! Well worth a visit.

What a great bar. It looks like something from "The great Gatsby" and the Barkeeper was amazing. He recommended great drinks und he prepared them well to. I am very picky but they all were amazing.I can't comment on the food since we only went for drinks.

The restaurant is really nice, the décor, has been really well thought out and it is a very nice outlet to dine at. Unfortunately the food is just ok for the prices and the service staff have been trained to the point of it feeling forced. They don't seem to have passion in what they are doing, but merely talking from a script. I will go there again, but my expectations are much lower.

Really lovely restaurant. The bar is so lovely. Very reasonably priced with absolutely outstanding service from waiting staff, front of house & bar staff. Food was excellent. Highly recommend trying their cocktails too, really good.
