10/10The moment we arrived we were seated and were given menus, our server was very nice it was a guy I think Lee, with a yin Yang necklace.Very polite very professional, the food arrived shortly after we ordered, most of us ordered chicken and lamb Sunday roasts. What I loved about the roasts that they all arrive with a big pan of purple cabbage, Savoy cabbage, parsnip, carrots and mashed parsnip as extra sides with our meat, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. I'm a big person and usually can eat more than a normal person and I was really full! The venue itself was very inviting, and the beer garden was amazing with very comfy rattan furniture! It truly upgraded all our afternoons. Will definitely come back.

Plenty of parking and once inside a warm welcome an a wood fire. The staff were very attentive and the meal was very well presented and cooked beautifully. We will definitely come here again for future get together with family and friends.

It's probably necessary to book a table and a deposit of £10 a head was required. This may have been because we asked for a table for 18 guests. The food was very good, slightly more than usual bar prices but still good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient. Ample free parking and although we had a room upstairs that was a little tired we walked through the bar area that had the feel of a cosy, welcoming pub. The beer and wines we had with our meal was very good.

Wow, what a huge place, could quite easily get lost inside. 😁😁😁 Good selection of drinks and a nice food menu that was not overly expensive. Staff courteous and attentive and the food hot with decent sized portions. Had the best Capachino in ages, it was actually hot and had a decent head. I will definitely go back next time we are in the vicinity. 😁😁😁

First time visiting and I would 100% come back here. Huge seat setting available inside & outside (numerous heaters which is always a plus!). We ordered food from the main menu - fish & chips, roast chicken & beef burger. The portions are huge!! Very good value for money. No complaints with the food at all - probably the best pub food i have ever had! We went during the day and it was heaving but it was amazingly not noisy & didnt feel crowded at all. Staff were so friendly despite it being busy & the food came very quickly. If you are driving - there are 2 large parking lots with generous space just be careful when leaving as the joining road can get fairly tight.

Enjoyed the most delightful family dining experience here last night. I cannot recommend it hightly enough! Welcoming efficient friendly staff deliver first class service. Drinks and food arrived at our table like we were VIPsFood was delicious....Game Pie from the main menu just amazing, Salmon and Liver (from the specials board) 10/10And if as my father suggested 'could do with a bigger portion' then order the whale and chips (fish n chips..... but it was that big)Great selection of drinks particularly enjoyed their real ales. Will visit again soon

It wasn't our first time for dinner and as always we weren't disappointed. Great food, good choices, great wine. Excellent service and atmosphere. This time we had our dinner inside but the meal in the garden is just soooo relaxing. Beautiful place.

On our visit to the Onslow arms we were seated at a table so close to other guests we were practically joining their group. I'd personally prefer a bit more privacy when I'm dining. We ordered roasts which I enjoyed and finished with pudding, pictured. The puddings were a bit of a let down actually. The vegan brownie didn't really taste of brownie or anything at all and there was a bit of false advertising as the stilton and honey cake wasn't one at all, but a slab of stilton placed on top of a honey cake! Hilarious, yes, what was expected, no. All in all a bit of a disappointment

Amazing Scallops with Black pudding and crushed pease / smoked salmon on rustic bread for starters and for mains simply the best roast beef dinner with a Yorkshire pudding the size of your head! and banging butchers sausages and mash. Completely blown away, compliments to the chef and fabulous team at this great country pub
