Lovely traditional pub with really friendly staff and a choice of real Ale.

I love The Royal Oak because there is always a friendly crowd there and helpful bar staff. It's a cozy oasis in the middle of town. It also has some great beers!

Cosy pub with nice local ales,like Surrey Hills. Outside area at the back and front with nicely kept plants is a massive bonus. Friendly staff.

Great pub, serving an excellent choice of cask and keg ales. The gin selection was good too. The bar staff were very friendly and the atmosphere overall was lovely!

Best pub in Guildford. Brilliant selection of bottled and cans beers with take out option. What’s on taps gets changed and rotated while at keeping on a few staple beers as to please all. Really nice staff, well managed. Don’t do food, personally in many ways that’s what makes this a great place to drink, it’s town centre so go out for food but go drinking here.

This pub did not do food, but the person serving was really nice, helpful and friendly, which is the reason for the high rating.The place was slightly dark and the floor was sticky.***The owner of this place very nicely took the time to respond to my rewiew. I've recently visited this pub just after coming out of the second lockdown and must admit i was pleasantly surprised with the service the treatment and how much the pub changed over the years. The renovation looks stunning, very cozy place, accesible prices and friendly staff. Definetely recommend it!!!

Great vibe with fine beer ✨ Such a cool local place to hangout, cozy and warm. There are plenty of choice of beer that you can choose, which I really enjoy. The waiters are nice and friendly. Overall, it's a cool pub you should come once if you're here in town.

Charming old pub, chilling out atmosphere sitting close the cheminée...and a great "Classic Hamburger " from local butcher. Strongly recommended to people who like traditional and calm places.
